If you pull up and see a large group of people waiting to get in, don't drive away. Bring a cup of coffee to sip while you wait, but don't worry, the wait won't be unbearable, the turn around is pretty fast. Not sure why it's labeled a lounge here, the lounge is in the bowling alley next door. I love the chicken fried steak, comes with a knife but cuts with a fork. My wife loves the scrambles. I haven't had a bad plate of anything. It's not a Mexican restaurant, but they also serve menudo and chile verde (get it with half rice and half potatoes).”

“Very happy groom here! My spouse and I just got married at Boulder Ridge this weekend and are still on cloud 9 from our amazing wedding cake!! We worked closely with Debbie and Elisha to try their flavors and design the cake. The appointment we had was efficient and dare I say the most fun vendor appointment of our wedding planning journey! We went with a 3-tier cake with all the flavors that we love: a) chocolate mousse b) vanilla hazelnut and c) tuxedo cappuccino. We tried the first two as we saved and froze our tuxedo tier to eat next year. Our guests shared that they loved the cake and I agree that it was moist and flavorful! Aside from the taste, the look of the cake was so dang elegant exactly what we were looking for in a timeless design. They also provided the gold cake stand which added an additional touch of class and matched our gold/white/blue wedding colors. Thanks so much, Debbie and Elisha, for all of your help and bringing our wedding cake dreams to life!!!”

It's not ugly, but it is rather mediocre. The service was good. They were attentive. The price point though, it's rather expensive. I probably won't come here often just for that reason. But my kid likes it, so I'll probably only come when she wants to.”

“First time here and came with a group. I was able to make a reservation via the website. We went on a Tuesday at 6:30 and we had the place to ourselves. Waitress was very kind and attentive. Everyone got drinks and we shared appetizers. Everyone ordered different entrees including salads, pastas, and burgers. They were all pretty tasty. I wanted the Beets & Goat Cheese Arugula Salad but they unfortunately were out of goat cheese so I got the Southwest instead. It was our friends birthday and they offered her a free dessert and we bought another. Good service and will come back to try something different.”

My daughter's enchilada sauce was a little too spicy for her... even though she can usually handle it. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again if we're ever in the area.”

Not sure why, but the shaken dirty martini was great! Seafood linguini was awesome. The photo has a description, as well as the Ahi wontons. Awesome, as well. Service was decent but at times slow. This did not affect the food, however. We visited on a Friday around 5:30 PM which is a great time, as it gets busy after 6. The ambiance is casual and lively with friendly staff and seemingly happy customers. Would recommend Rosy's for a casual dinner for two or a large group!”

There was a sauce on the side that enhanced the taste. For sfizi, we had the smoked eggplant. The fired pita was so good. There is some salt spice on the bread that makes you want to eat continously. Will try the others next time. For salad, we had the Mapakia, it was so good and there some crunchiness that made every chew so delish. For our main course, my wife had the Branzino and i had Veal cheeks. Both tasted so good. My only comment is that the veal got so tender and it melts on my mouth that i didnt need to chew it. They also gave my wife a free dessert that was so good as well. Overall, we had a great time, happy tummy and a memorable experience.Btw, we went on a Tuesday night around 7pm so it was not that busy.. We brought our wine and paid $35 for corkage..Great ambiance, great service, great food. Its perfect for a special occassion. Till next time.”

“If you want to go to a winery that has the old school field of 1970s, Napa Valley where you can still get a free tasting and taste the most exceptional wines in California. This is the place the Ventor does micro fermentation and pays attention to the most Finest details in production. Small vintage lots are used. With no more than 1500 cases a year produced. Any wine you taste there will be exceptional. I highly recommend this place when they are open only one weekend a month.”

The location is gorgeous, and I was in awe of the giant palm tree that is stunningly lit from beneath with the sunset taking place behind it. Wish I had taken a photo to post here. It's a family friendly venue but I'd suggest to leave pets home because it is also connected to a residence. They have Trivia nights and bands on various dates. “On a difficult day we were treated to a great lunch. The hamachi sushi was excellent. Same can be said for the salmon belly which was topped with real wasabi. Chef gave us some sort of seared salmon with tobiko and homemade sauce that was unreal. Hamachi kama finished us off. We managed to split mango mochi for dessert. Would go again there in a heartbeat!”

It's chewy, sweet, perfect coat of cinnamon sugar. Service, ambiance makes up for the extra stars. Worth a visit”

After viewing the property, meeting Vivian, and communicating back-and-forth with Roni Jo, we new we wanted to booked the family photo session that castillo's Hillside Winery. We just had the photos taken Saturday, October 21, 2023. We can't wait to seeing the photos taken on their beautiful grounds and we plan to go back doing a tasting. The food is actually good, I know I pointed out specific items with issues, but despite extra salt, dry fries or weird bacon the food is still good. P.S. “I've always thought Morgan Hill was lacking in pizzerias. Depot Street Pizza has now become my favorite place in town. My favorite type of pizza has been thin crusted margherita pies with with a good combo of alittle crispness and chew to the dough. They offer, what I consider my perfect type of pizza with Pliney the Elder on tap and if you can't find a beer there, Running Shop & Hopps is right next door. You can't beat it, in my opinion. Everyone has their preferences on pizza and for me, I would recommend to anyone looking for a local pizzeria.”

“We stopped by Morgan Hill to grab a bit to avoid the 101 traffic and found this nice hidden gem ice cream local shop. You can tell that their sorbet/ice cream is made from fresh fruit since you can taste the purée, especially the coconut flavor. Besides, their prices are very reasonable for a local shop since I have never seen any ice cream store around The Bay Area charging less than $4 per scoop except this one. We also had a small chat with the owner during the visit. She was very friendly and passionate about running her own business and liked to keep the place clean. We will stop by again definitely!”

“This review is for the new restaurant located at the corner of the plaza. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat authentic Mexican cuisine. The shrimp tacos were delicious. My partner and daughter ate birria tacos and couldn't get enough. Now, the service here was top notch. They were so accommodating and friendly. We asked for soup to go along with the birria tacos and they totally did that for us :) This place has karaoke and music. They offered us the control but we declined. Other customers were playing music. It is definitely kind of them to allow the customer to choose the music. We also got an Aqua de piña and they offer free refills! I will definitely be coming back to try their enchiladas and other dishes. They have a Oaxacan sample and other typical Oaxacan dishes. It's located inside a plaza which offers free parking and has high chairs for kiddos.”

“La Costa is one of the best places in town to get quality Mexican food. I have tried a lot off of their menu and have never been disappointed. Through the years I’ve been coming here I would have to say my favorites are probably the Pastor Tacos, Wet Burrito, and their Tortas. They have a pretty good drink selection too, and their horchata is very good compared to a lot of other places. Overall La Costa has been one of my favorite places to eat for years now, and if you haven’t tried it yet, do it!”

“Been frequenting this restaurant since moving to Morgan Hill. Under new management, the menu remains Rosy's and is just as delicious. I think the drinks are better now. Not sure why, but the shaken dirty martini was great! Seafood linguini was awesome. The photo has a description, as well as the Ahi wontons. Awesome, as well. Service was decent but at times slow. This did not affect the food, however. We visited on a Friday around 5:30 PM which is a great time, as it gets busy after 6. The ambiance is casual and lively with friendly staff and seemingly happy customers. Would recommend Rosy's for a casual dinner for two or a large group!”

“On a difficult day we were treated to a great lunch. The hamachi sushi was excellent. Same can be said for the salmon belly which was topped with real wasabi. Chef gave us some sort of seared salmon with tobiko and homemade sauce that was unreal. Hamachi kama finished us off. We managed to split mango mochi for dessert. Would go again there in a heartbeat!”

“We dinned in to celebrate my wifes birthday. Since it is special, we choose Odeum!!For appetizer we ordered the Octopus called Polipo and it was so good. There was a sauce on the side that enhanced the taste. For sfizi, we had the smoked eggplant. The fired pita was so good. There is some salt spice on the bread that makes you want to eat continously. Will try the others next time. For salad, we had the Mapakia, it was so good and there some crunchiness that made every chew so delish. For our main course, my wife had the Branzino and i had Veal cheeks. Both tasted so good. My only comment is that the veal got so tender and it melts on my mouth that i didnt need to chew it. They also gave my wife a free dessert that was so good as well. Overall, we had a great time, happy tummy and a memorable experience.Btw, we went on a Tuesday night around 7pm so it was not that busy.. We brought our wine and paid $35 for corkage..Great ambiance, great service, great food. Its perfect for a special occassion. Till next time.”

But I think I got there during a slow period because when I arrived at the counter, the gentleman in the back barely glanced at me and proceeded to fill containers while I stood at the counter, even after I had stopped looking at the menu and was just staring at him, I think it was a minute or two before he finally acknowledged my existence and asked me what I'd like to order. I'm not knocking it since he was solo behind the counter at the time, but if management reads this, I would suggest at least acknowledge someone when they walk up to the counter, saying something like " I'll be right with you" or, "just give me a moment". It would have given me a much more positive experience. That said, he did well greeting other folks that arrived after me so it was probably just a momentary thing. Nonetheless, if I were ownership or management, I'd want to know about these small glitches. I enjoyed the meal. The location is nice and convenient and I would eat there again if I'm near there”

It's not ugly, but it is rather mediocre. The service was good. They were attentive. The price point though, it's rather expensive. I probably won't come here often just for that reason. But my kid likes it, so I'll probably only come when she wants to.”

He was able to manage taking orders, bussing tables, and running food all on his own. They had a high chair available for our little one and a kids menu to choose from. High chair and table was not the cleanest, otherwise everything was great. Might try brunch next!”
