“I accompanied my sister and her boyfriend to this new location. I ordered a BLT Sandwich, it was delicious and very fulfilling, i got full after finishing half of it yet definitely finishing the leftovers later. The BLT Sandwich was very big yet was compact, the sandwich had a nice consistency and didn't fall apart. My sister ordered the Bacon Burger which she enjoyed, the burger very appealing as it consisted of a white bun with the juiciest of meat. My sister's boyfriend ordered a A-Jay's Dog and he liked it and was pleased, he agrees the food was nice and fulfilling, he later on threw up but in his words 'felt good going in'. We ordered Garlic Fries as well which had a strong smell but were alright just personally not for me. The service was fantastic, there were two nice young men making sure we were satisfied and content with the service and food, the food was fresh and cooked quickly and tasty. The restaurant is small with a good amount of seating, the restaurant is clean and very well-kept. , overall a 5/5 star restaurant, review made by a picky eater.“
“As a long time Cheesesteak affecianado (of the Pat's Steaks faction in the S. Philly Cheesesteak debate) I am always dubious of West Coast Cheesesteaks. When a friend heard many commercials during Giant's broadcasts she suggested we give this place a shot on our way to see the SJ Giants. A small unassuming place in a strip mall on Monterey Rd., like most good grab-n-gos, there wasn't much in the way of ambiance. They specialize in one thing and their menu accommodates little else; cheesesteaks, accessories, fries, and a vegetarian option. Service was quick, the folks nice, and the food right on. The only difference between this and my cherished Pat's was this steak is chopped, Pat just lays on layers. The roll was soft and soaked up the juices without falling apart, and the flavor was excellent. We'll probably go back before every game, it's cheaper and better than ballpark food.“
“Pretty amazing place. Got the classic with mushroom. So good! Also the garlic fries are not to miss! Cannot recommend enough. Only bad part is that there really is no where to sit down inside. Can be an issue in the bay area evenings when it gets pretty chilly but I would still go if you are in the mood for a Philly cheese steak .“
