“Cozy spot for breakfast or lunch. We were on our way home from Pajaro Dunes and found this spot. All four of us had great meals. The burgers are massive, the eggs Benedict are great and the breakfast burrito has lots of options. There's bar, booth and outdoor seating. The atmosphere is classic diner with plenty of fun decor. The staff is super friendly and cheerful. There's plenty of parking.“

“Every aspect of going where was phenomenal. The food was great (I had the cheesesteak, my friend had the Kong burger). The food was great, it was twice as cheap as everything else in the area, and the service / environment was great. We couldn't manage to bring the food home because we ended up just gorging and eating it on our way back. I'd fully recommend the spot, and I'll try to hit it up on my way through from now on.“

“The food was not necessarily to our taste. BUT that's more a matter of preference and not quality. They had a bunch of keto and vegan and vegetarian options overall a good choice if you have dietary restrictions or adhere to a specific dietary “

“They close at 2 on Sundays and we showed up around 1:20 and there were people waiting to be seated before us. They did not make us feel rushed at all! Took our order and brought everything out hot and cooked with care. Everything was very good! The waitress was amazing and very attentive! Made sure we had everything we needed. This place is definitely going into our rotation for breakfast.“

“Overall, I enjoy the setting and ambiance at the Beerded Bean and will come here to do homework or bring friends and family that are visiting. I like that they have beer on tap, although would love to see some cider’s, kombucha’s and less hoppy beers. When I come in I always get a matcha tea, but shocked that the price is now $7 for a small matcha. And then an extra $1 for alternative milk, so my matcha was $8, plus $1 for tip so $9 total! Yikes! It is their only hot drink that is that much. The rest are around$5.50 which is reasonable. Their Carmel Valley location has matcha that is cheaper. I work in Monterey, and will get matcha’s in Monterey and Pacific Grove all throughout the week, and the most I usually pay for a small matcha is between $4.50-5.50 plus $.50-$1.00 for alternative milk. In fact Cafe Guarani and Captain Stokers, where I frequently visit, has a matcha that is only $4.50, Beerded Bean please consider lowering your Matcha price. I will continue to come here, but will have to change my drink up to a regular teabag, or head down the road to Starbucks for my Matcha, which I really do not want to do. :-(.“

“Stopped for coffee and had a delicious cinnamon coffee creation and fresh flavorful empanada. The decorations are so fun! The vibe is super mellow. Definitely fun to go to this small business as opposed to big biz across the street. **thx for having compostable containers**“

“Came here on the recommendation of our hotel concierge as we were going to elkhorn slough. Great recommendation! Had the eggs benedict with skirt steak, and it was delicious. Buttermilk pancakes for my daughter were fantastic, and my wife had Dave's omelette and loved it. Overall I would come back here again and again, but do not live close enough, so it may just be today and again tomorrow. Then I'll have to wait for my next trip down highway 1.“
