For me, the medium is tasty, but a little like, “where’s the ‘hot’ in Dave’s Hot Chicken?” The hot is like, “oh, there it is.” They’re both good. Perfect for me would be something right in between. “This is my favorite Korean fried chicken spot in the Bay Area. The chicken is absolutely delicious and is super crunchy.I love the salad bar too. Not too many options but I love everything that they have. You can go up as many times as you like and get more salad and rice.The service is great too cause the folks working there are super nice. Please be patient with the staff though cause usually it's just one person that is directly helping customers.The one issue I had was the parking, but obviously that's not the restaurant's fault. We tried going on a Friday night but the parking lot was so packed. Plus the aisles were very narrow so we were stuck waiting to get out when two oncoming cars couldn't get past one another. We ended up leaving and coming back for lunch the next day and the parking was much better. Basically, I recommend going when it's not too busy.“

The biscuit was very sweet so I could see where some people would love it. It's not my thing.And I had to wait for chicken to finish frying and so mine was super fresh. It was also very good as leftovers the next day.But next time, I'm going to find a way to order online first so I can just pick it up. The people working there were so friendly and helpful and very patient with a first timer. They were very aware of orders that were sent in to be sure that people could walk in and get their orders right away. And I saw quite a few come in that way. So that's when I got the clue to preorder next time.With the combo meals, you do get to go over and get your fountain beverage. There's also a lot of other tempting goodies. But this time I focused on the chicken.There is no place to sit and eat, so we drove to a park. And the little trick of putting out some meat to keep the yellow jackets away didn't work this time. “This would be my go-to spot for korean kfc if it wasn't so far from me. They have both wings style and also whole chicken. I prefer wings and yang nyum sauce but their original chicken is also very good. Soju and beer are served and the owner Peter and his staff tend very well to customers. Radishes cost extra, their chicken to-go still tastes divine and hits the spot for those cravings. Their tteokboki and sausage on sticks are delicious and tteokboki are crisp and served on skewers. Highly recommend!“

It’s probably the best chicken you can get late night in the peninsula, and the location is pretty easy to get to.
