“Today I ordered a roasted barley milk tea for myself and a passion fruit green tea for my friend. They tasted refreshing and are very affordable! The service has always been friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely stop by again next time I’m in downtown Mountain View. :)“
“I came specifically to try the latte flight ($12), which is such a cool concept. I wish other coffee shops offered this. It's a great way for a first timer to try their different lattes. The lattes you get are: 1. Seasonal Latte - it was a Honey Latte (4/8/24) 2. Regular Latte 3. Matcha Latte 4. Ube Latte (no caffeine) I liked them all, but the regular latte was my favorite (lol). The Honey Latte and Ube Latte were a tad too sweet for me. The Ube was unique and creamy, and so pretty (look at that color!). If you like ube, you would like this latte. The matcha latte was good too, probably my 2nd favorite of the 4. Service was great, very friendly staff. The store is super cute with indoor and outdoor seating. It reminds of the coffee shops from my Berkeley college days. There's plenty of free parking around the neighborhood, including a free city lot a block away on Mercy.“
“The chocolate fondant is absolutely splendid. GET IT. All other pastries looked amazing. I will be back to try more of them. The Americano was decent but not outstanding. I LOVE Mr. Espresso's beans, which they do use, but I think either the technique, the grinds measurement, or the freshness of the coffee needs a bit of improvement.“
“Met up with friends at the cafe here a few times. So far, plenty of free parking in the lot across the street. For take-out, you step aside and wait after ordering, or for dine-in, a server will find your number to bring the food to your table. Either way, the wait can take quite awhile. I've had ham and cheese small bytes; baguette was hard and too salty. Turkey cranberry and arugula sandwich was decent. Coffee is good. Strawberry Dragon Fruit drink is refreshing, light sweet. Nice area to walk around Google campus!“
“I stumbled upon this place on a recent visit to Mountain View. It's nice to find a good coffee option without going to the downtown area. Nice coffee and excellent carrot cake. They have good seating (and a strange little shop). I'll definitely check them out again if I'm in the area.“
“The coffee bean taste and aroma are evident with every sip, offering a fresh sensation. I like their balance of cappuccino —it’s foamy yet doesn’t overpower the espresso. Local, casual, relaxed vibes inside makes you feel like your go-to neighborhood coffee shop. Plenty of seats, with some outdoor seating available when weather permits. Baristas are friendly too.“
“Really cute & chic bakery with delicious pastries. The store is really spacious -- you can order your coffee & pastries for take out but there's also a whole section of the restaurant where you can sit down and eat as well. I really enjoyed the flat croissant. For me, it's the best part of the croissant -- the crispiness and flakiness of a croissant. The strawberry glaze and freeze-dried strawberries also added a nice touch. Would come back just for this. The almond croissant was pretty good but not amazing. The croissant itself was flaky and fluffy. The filling was good but personally thought there was too much filling so that's all you taste in eat bite. It's a little too overpowering and felt like I was mainly just eating that. 100% have to heat it up before eating -- otherwise, it tastes very mid. Overall, their desserts & pastries are yummy but don't think it's worth the drive here if you don't live in the area.“
“The go-to coffee shop in Mountain View. Consistently great lattes, particularly a half-sweet hazelnut latte. Good selection of beans for purchase, with roast levels being on the lighter side. There's not a lot of room on the first floor to stand and wait for your drink, however it's a historical building so I don't see that changing any time soon. If you haven't been to Red Rock in quite some time, it's worth a revisit!“
“Nice and spacious Peet's Coffee location in downtown Mountain View. I had a refreshing iced coffee on a warm day. Key points: -Friendly and speedy staff. -Indoor and outdoor seating available. -Restroom is very clean, key available at counter. Located at Castro St & California St“
“I've been trying different coffee shops to switch it up and find new favorites rather than the obvious chains. I would like to be able to sit and hang out while drinking my coffee; this didn't happen at Zombie Runner as it's more of a take out place (2 small tables and chairs outside with weather that is below 60, so that was not appealing). While the environment was not what I am looking for, I have to say the coffee was delicious(I ordered a basic latte with caramel) and I am enjoying it while sitting in my car (insert sad face for being in my car when I would rather be relaxing in a cozy cafe). The young lady who helped me was very pleasant and patient when I couldn't decide what I wanted. I haven't read the other reviews because I didn't want to have any expectations, but I also want to add that parking was super easy as it was right on the street in front of the coffee shop (which is attached to the Verve apartments). So, while it won't be a place that I will stop by for meeting up with a friend, I would definitely pick up a coffee to go if it was on my way to some place.“
“The service is exceptional super fast and considerate. The food though is a little okay. The popcorn chicken has actual popcorn which sounds innovative but the combination just didn't work. The food was definitely in the smaller portions and the prices were definitely more expensive. Super great study place though.“
“Oh sweet sweet boba how do I love you so?...This is my favorite boba place next to where I live. Grabbed one on the way back from the dentist cleaning this morning. They make their own boba from scratch and you can see them make it super cool!Been here about a dozen times before. How did I not notice this.Super clean building with bathrooms. Never busy. They have specialties. My favorite is the Mr. Sun passion fruit green tea with boba and coconut jelly 25% sugar and less ice. You can customize it how you want.I actually like this place better than the options downtown.Nothing much to complain about here. Except the girl taking my order today was so soft-spoken I could hardly hear what she was asking.Recommend if you're dropping by or going past to grab a cold or hot drink. Or if you just need a home away from home to work or just chill.“
“Tried this spot for some boba. I really wanted a basic black milk tea which I figured out is the black tea milk latte or something like that. I ended up getting the Mango Pomelo Sago with 70% sweetness. It’s super delicious with boba. Not too sweet at all, which is the main reason I avoid fruit teas. My friend got a Mango Sago with grass jelly and boba which she had been looking forward to trying and it did not disappoint. It’s located next to Michaels in the Target Shopping Center so parking in easy. It’s a small little shop with no room to wait. You order on the touchscreen and go outside to wait for your order. Great experience and fast service!“
“Good food, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. This is located inside the corner of the Computer Museum on the first floor. Surrounded on 2 sides by glass, when we went there the self driving car was parked to one side. We ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and got a hand made sandwich and a small, delicious, salad that we shared before touring the museum. If the day is nice, you can also sit outside and enjoy the food and the weather. Definitely recommend this restaurant as a good place to get a snack or meal while at the museum.“
“This is my favorite boba chain and my favorite location. My roommate and I love to come here after dinner. The architecture is open and airy and gives a cheerful feeling. Service is always incredible and boba makers are so kind. The pearls are always soft and fresh and the tea is always flavorful and delicious !! The orders come out promptly Shoutout to the Friday night barista“
“This was a good spot for American breakfast, however they didn't have milkshakes available. I wish they mentioned on their menu when milkshakes are served.Parking is weird because it's on the other side... You need to make a weird u turn if you see the restaurant on the right.“
“Best boba I have ever had! I had the Creme Brulee Latte (also had black tea added to it) and it was so tasty! The boba pearls were so soft and chewy. The foam on top was delicious. I love that they use organic milk, which was the main reason I came. I can’t wait to come back and try more drinks.“
