An absolutely wonderful experience. This was our first Napa winery and they set the bar very high with our private wine tasting experience. The grounds were breathtaking. The architecture was amazing. The owners’ story was inspiring. Jessica, our hostess, did a wonderful job. AND that was all before we even got to the wine! The wines were outstanding! We look forward to returning soon and next time would definitely like to add food pairings (prepared by their on site chef) to our wine tasting.

One of the most luxurious and well-put-together wine-tasting experiences in Napa Valley! This 260 acres estate with only 32 planted produces about 2000 cases of four wines, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and one of my favorite white wine blends (200 cases), trinity blanc. Tip: if you join their wine club, they will waive your tasting.

Progeny was top notch!! The views, wine, and architecture were amazing. We got to try some of their older wines from 2013-2017. They had great meat and cheese pairings to go with each of the wines, as well. Our tasting guide, Anthony, provided by far the best experience we have ever had! He had us laughing and cutting up the WHOLE time!!

Great experience and the wines shown for themselves. The views are unreal and tad easier to get to than other wineries in the hills. Our wine educator was great. I’d say my only critique is $100 tasting fee for 3 wines and no cheese/crackers seems tad steep. But overall good experience.

Amazing experience and what an incredible view! Simply the best view I have ever seen! Our host did an amazing job and the wines are outstanding! We bought a few bottles of wine and signed up for the club! We will for sure be back and upgrade to a culinary experience! Progeny is such a beautiful place to visit! You won't be disappointed!

In November, my wife and I had our tenth anniversary. Pandemic. Fires. 2020 in full effect.Absolutely unreal experience here. From Blanca showing us the property, safely and at distance, to the chef making some of the best meals we have ever experienced. Unreal. Pairing their wines with a truly exceptional culinary experience was incredible.It’s important that I take the time to appreciate the safe and reassuring time spent at this property. You can’t safe enough about the quality of the wine. Their 2016Cab is already incredible, highly recommend. It is going to be even more amazing in a few years as it matures. The 2014 is unreal. Simply put. Unreal.We are first timers to Napa. We respect these are very different times and we were worried about traveling with everything going. Progeny set the bar for our trip here. This is a must if you are visiting Napa. Safe and easily the best experience we had.*Towards the end of our visit the owner even stopped by. He stopped by to see how our experience was, from a distance. He truly cared about the organization and its people.

We arrived at the beautiful hill of Progeny and were greeted by Anthony. After a tour of the property, Anthony began our wine and cheese pairing which was awesome! The pairings were done beautifully, and Anthony made the experience special. We bought several bottles to bring home and will definitely be going back.

Even though our group purchased over $1,500 in wine, they refused to comp the wine tasting fee of $65 per person. First time that has happened to me. Seems very short-sighted, since I tend to bring quite a few friends to various Napa tastings. Their wine is good, but not so over the top that they should take such a hard line position. They must think a lot of themselves.
