“Hands down, best ramen in Santa Rosa. Their pork belly just falls apart and melts in your mouth, the broth is rich and perfectly flavored, and their noodles are fresh and firm. Couldn't come here without getting their steamed gyoza though too, accompanied with their spicy mayo.“
“It would be cool if the boats were being utilized for food. The top part (a conveyor belt) was functional and some of our food came to the table on jt. Overall the food was okay in an area without many Japanese cuisine offerings. If I was around I'd come back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come. Nice staff, OK service (we came during a busy time). Restaurant was clean.“
“Best sushi in Santa Rosa! We always get fast and friendly service. The sushi is made with fresh ingredients and you can definitely taste the difference. We appreciate they don't smother all the rolls with a bunch of sauce like other sushi restaurants. The ingredients are always fresh and clean . We pick up all the time and we've never been disappointed. I have two young picky eaters and they love Kamura! They won't eat sushi from anywhere else ( I've tried) ...but they gobble this stuff down quick! This is our favorite restaurant.“
“We wanted to try a new sushi place, this is going to be our new favorite! We tried the gyoza, Dragon Roll, Hamachi Lovers roll, and the Tropical Dream roll. Everything was delicious and very fresh (which is saying something since we went towards closing time on a Monday night). The service was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Great spot for date night!“
“We discovered this restaurant via Yelp and gave it a try. We were greeted warmly upon entering and our orders were taken rather quickly. My friend & I shared the veggie Drunken Noodles which were excellent- fresh veggies, nice flavor and tender noodles. We also had the edamame which was good. Our server was loquacious & friendly. We definitely will return here again.“
“I was doing some late night shopping and needed a good last min meal for my family. I opted for quick sushi not expecting too much, but boy was I blown away. The freshness and quality of the food was off the charts. I was so pleased by what I received, especially for the PRICE!The owner was extremely nice and welcoming. She made a great impression on my family and we are now big fans and have since gone back.I would highly recommend this hidden gem.“
“Thank you to all of the reviewers, we also loved this delicious, clean, friendly restaurant! Everything was super fresh, delicious and carefully presented, plenty of food. Hot food was piping hot and Chirashi Bowl was full of fresh, nice & cold sashimi. Just an FYI; the Korean vegetable pancake while delicious is a bit greasy and tea very flavorless (pass on tea). Restaurant, tables, seats, all plates and cups were modern and super clean! The restaurant has large flat screens on each wall to watch sports (golf/soccer were on 02.13.24).Thank you so much!!!Photos;-Chirashi Bowl-Korean Vegetable Pancake-2 Item Bento (Tonkatsu & Tempura)“
“I'm a new resident to the neighborhood and after a visit here tonight, Bluefish is now on my list of local go-to spots. My partner and I shared a seaweed salad, a few kinds of nigiri, an albacore roll and a hamachi hand roll - all was fresh and generously portioned. I especially appreciate that for the hand roll they dice the fish and so it's much easier to eat and handle compared to what is usually a sashimi cut rolled up in a sheet of nori. Here's the thing one should know about Bluefish - the fish selection is pretty limited and standard, which could be a little boring for those wanting nigiri or sashimi. That said it's all very fresh and the nigiri is the right fish-to-rice ratio. If you really like rolls this is your place as they have a couple dozen options. Being a Tuesday evening the place was quiet with just a few tables - the service was attentive and competent and the food came out quickly. The dark wood and warm lighting make it easy to forget you're in a strip mall next door to a CVS. I will definitely be back.“
“Tiny little place. Slight look of horror when asking for a table of 6. But while a bit tight the service is second only to the quality of the food. Which may be some of the best in SR. Should note I had Korean BBQ not the sushi but I definitely have made this a special occasion destination.Parking: Super cheap garage right across the street. Maybe 1.25 for the time I was there.“
“Really good sushi, fresh fish, veteran sushi chef Gilbert takes great care of his customers at the sushi bar. As far as menu pricing goes, Makizushi lands on the affordable side of the sushi spectrum. New owner is a young entrepreneur, doing a great job!“
“I've been supporting Mr. Chu's restaurants for decades with Osaki being my wife's favorite. Food and ingrediate quality, a true family run business environment, and their shared commitment to consistency are especially noteworthy. From the moment you walk in and see the koi swimming and Mr. CHU deftly working his magic behind the Sushi bar, you know everybody in your party is going to have a great experience. It's a very rare restaurant experience these days.Parking: Convenient“
“The food here is always fresh and hefty. I had the dinner all you can eat special. I was full. I wish I had more room in my tummy to fit more food during the time I was there. The service was good except for that other tables who ordered after us got their meals before we got ours. They have a restroom for the customers and metered parking is available when it is not during peak hours for the area. Thank you.Vegetarian options: There are definitely a few vegetarian dishes to choose from and are really delicious too!“
“I’m not the biggest fan of fish/ seafood, but one of the sushi’s I liked was Super Giants. Out of the vegetarian options, I love how they have more options than most and even had a Paradise roll that came with mango which most sushi places don’t allow you to add. I also had their baby doll roll which tastes good with sauce on the side. Next time I’ll try their tempura mushroom. Their seaweed salad is one of the best though, quite delicious and looks aesthetic. Overall the place isn’t special, but is quite good and will be back again.Vegetarian options: Have a few good veggie options. Vegetarian friendlyParking: The parking is paid on most days, but I think free on weekendsDietary restrictions: Great for pescatarians and vegetarians. Have a few vegan options too.“
“This place was a decent bang for your buck, especially if you're going for the All You Can Eat Sushi. Don't get too carried, because there's a lot of options, and can fill up quick. The parking was convenient, next to the Walgreens. The place has large windows that bring in light, so the place never feels that dark. We had one server who was very attentive and friendly. She was the only one there serving, and was covering three different tables (tip them well). They have unique sushi special rolls, and I didn't leave hungry.“
“In my opinion everything was very good except for one event that I say with respect and my respects to the homosexual people my most sincere respects but something that I did not like is that there were two very affectionate men between them and the problem is my children were with me and They seemed very confused when they saw them and I didn't find it at all pleasant. Furthermore, I looked at other families with children and apparently they also don't like that at all so much so that they decided to leave. I apologize if anyone is offended but I think they should have a A little more discretion, especially where there are small children, or the restaurant respectfully asks that those actions not be seen there, I have nothing against them, I tell you with all due respect. Thanks, that's my opinion.“
“Very high rating japanese restaurant.Food quality is over expectations, the bento box is good enough to fill up your stomach, the shrimp is fresh.Service provided was also very nice, they help to answer what you need to know for the food to be ordered. The restaurant is very chill, it is really a nice place to gather after work. I really recommend visiting this restaurant if you want to try japanese food.“
