“Attended an event here last night and their catering menu was on point! The truffle mac and cheese was a personal fave because you could take the premium cheeses used to create it. I also really enjoyed the frisky fried cauliflower and the pretzel bites! The service was also great. The servers refilled my drinks and took my empty plates promptly. This restaurant is perfect for a date night or a small private event! Looks like it would be a really good vibe on a weekend as they also had a DJ. I would definitely recommend this place! S/O to Chef Shawn for the delicious dishes!“
“Love this welcome addition to this neighborhood! Stellar beer selection (they even have TWO sours on tap currently!!) and delicioussss food. Every pizza we’ve tried has been a hit. Our daughters call it the “square pizza place.” Might I add their brunch is a must do?! So yummy.“
“We loved the delicious, home-cooked food so much that we ate lunch here twice during our two-week stay in SD. The small restaurant is run by a Danish couple. The baked goods vary from day to day, and the food is fresh and authentically Danish. The service is warm and personal. Highly recommend!“

“I come here on cold days just for the chicken congee. The portion is huge, enough for two meals, and the taste and texture are awesome. Love the savory doughnuts that come with it as well (dip them in the soup!) Service is great and the patio area is very comfy and clean.“
“A couple of weeks ago, we had our home tented for termites. As anyone knows, it's a lot of work. We didn't have a kitchen at our hotel, so we headed to JFAT's for dinner. It was great. Haley was our waitress, and she was friendly and efficient. I had the tavern bowl, and Dave had the fish and chips. They were both delicious. The best part was the wine Haley recommended! She suggested a bottle of Sycamore Hill cabernet. We'd never heard of it, and were a little skeptical. Haley was right; it was fabulous, and just what we needed. Thanks for taking care of us!“
“I got the orange chicken with chow mein & the shrimp and pork steamed wontons & every single item was a 10/10! The chow mein is the best, most flavorful chow mein I have ever had, the orange chicken is crispy & sweet, & the wontons were tender & very flavorful. Portions are worth the price. Highly recommend!“
“Nice family focused restaurant. Good atmosphere and decor. Despite them being busy, service was good and food and drinks both arrived quickly. We had the Asian Chicken Salad and the roast beef and fish tacos. All were good. Server was very nice, even at the end of a long day.“

“To close out our night we stopped here to grab a few. It was a bit chilly as the door are open and there are no heaters. Very nice vibe and I will have to come back another time to fully enjoy. We stuck with beer, but I would like to see what else the menu has.“

“I would have given five stars across-the-board if not for one issue. They are understaffed. The waiter was much too busy for the number of tables he had, and while we definitely don't mind waiting, my mother started having a bad coughing attack, and he still hadn't brought any water to the table after 20 minutes. I went to the bar to ask for water because she was having a hard time, and he didn't listen to me, he just kept saying “in a minute, in a minute” when I insisted I just needed a water quickly for her. I had to rush across the street to get some water for her. Eventually he brought over our beverages, but not a water for her.  That being said, the food was delicious, and definitely worth the value . They just need some help.“

“Easily one of the best Filipino Restaurants in SoCal! They serve authentic home-made tasting Filipino food. Service is excellent and they have an ice cream bar for my halo-halo lovers. Ambiance is very homey and family based. Looking forward to coming back again.“
