The best Filipino bakery in National City and probably in San Diego!They have all sorts of dishes too, haven't had a chance to get any but every time I buy bread someone is ordering food!

Was in the area and was craving some lumpia. First time actually getting food from here as I ordered 25 pieces of the Lumpia Shanghai and a dozen chicken empanadas. The establishment was relatively small but had a few tables and chairs to eat at inside. Service was welcoming and friendly. I had to wait about ten minutes for the lumpia as they cooked it fresh for me. Lumpia always hits the spot. The empanadas are typically dry but ok for me. I'll definitely return to try other options.

I don't know about the other guy but I don't think prices are at all high. I always get a good meal for my dollars worth. If you ask me its the best filipino food in town. I too was laid off in 09 and had to leave SD because a previous employer wanted me to run a store in Palm Desert. I wish I could have packed Valerio's in my luggage because there is no filipino food out here. Whenever I'm in town I always try to make a trip to my favorite turo-turo for some good eats!

It costs $10 gas to make a round trip to this Valerio's.Chicken empanada (6 pcs) - 5 star. Very delicious! Halo-halo (2 orders) - 5 star. Authentic Filipino halo-halo.Service from Rose - 5 star. Thank you.Menu is extensive. And lots of desserts and breads.Parking - easyClean restaurant.I would eat here everyday if I lived closer.
Nice customer service but the food is a hit or miss. Some days the lumpia eggrolls are so good, other days - nah. Applies to other dishes too. Consistency in taste is important so customers keep coming back. Train all cooks so taste is uniform and consistent.

I used to like this resto.today, i was soooo disappointed...i bought veggie lumpia,banana turon , and a purple rice dessert....d veggie lumpia were small and burnt, and cold and soft..banana turon the same thing....but the rice cake was the worst ...it tasted old and no taste at all....i just wasted my money....will not go back there again....

Man, this place had all kinds of goodies from snacks, to small food portions, drinks, and desserts. So many options to choose from!! I love anything ube, so of course I was happy browsing this bakery. One of my favorite desserts is Halo, Halo, and I don't always mind the red beans, but for me this Halo, Halo had too many red beans. It was good, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Come check out everything in here, if you can! Make sure it's cheat day!
They open early so its very convenient. I can get my food to go for lunch on the way to work. I recommend thier silog menu and pansit in the morning.
