Our pizza was hot and fresh. The sauce was delicious. The toppings were generous. The owner was very polite and welcomed us to the neighbor. We will absolutely be back and this was a great value for the price.
My wife and I always buy Zappy pizza from the one on E San Ysidro blvd. Best pizza ever. And we came here expecting the same quality and my god it's not even close. We didn't even eat the pizza. We had to drive back to San Ysidro to get the good pizza that same day and threw this one away. I'm not sure why but they obviously are cutting on quality and making pizza that is just not worth it. In the picture you can see the difference right away. Zappy from San Ysidro is the full one and this one.

Hole in the wall pizza place with no seating or delivery. The owner was courteous. The pizza was delicious and kid approved. Can't beat 6$ for a large single topping pizza in a state with runaway gas prices and the same size pizza costing 14$+ anywhere else.Parking: Parking lot needs some stop signs at the ends of the lanes. It's basically a free for all layout.

i guess you can say one of the best pizza shops in south bay if not in san diego . the price and the quality of food is awesome , beside the great customer service. and the guy behind the counter very professional . and he Does look like Vin :) So thank you Zappy for everything
We were in town for a few days and pizza sounded good for dinner our last night there. I googled pizza, looked for the most stars and randomly chose Zappy’s TOTALLY due to number of stars! (Reviews are important to businesses!)We were greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly and had a huge smile! We ordered our pizza and waited 8-10 minutes! It came out hot, fresh and SO delicious for a great price! The man shared that he had taken over the business after the death of his father. You could see the pride in his eyes. He’s proud of his work as well he should be! The restaurant doesn’t offer dine in as it is very tiny and modest. I’m telling you, if you don’t eat Zappy’s pizza when you’re in National City,Ca…. You aren’t eating the best pizza in town!

So AWESOME! ALWAYS is. The crust is so chewy, with that fresh flour flavor. Mexican Pizza is AMAZING and my "go to" is the 3 Meats. My wife loves a sausage pie with extra sauce and he NEVER charges for the extra sauce. We buy 12 pies at a time, for our Sober Homes and it's always ready on time and excellent quality.
