Dennys is not typically the kind of restaurant that I'd think of as deserving of 5 stars in general, but in this instance, this Denny's was one of the few restaurants in the area that could actually open due to the power outages sunday/monday, and as such they were packed. Despite being short staffed the server was very pleasant, kept our drinks topped up while we waited for our meal, and made sure we had everything we needed. We come here every time we go up the hill from Sacramento, sort of turned it into a family tradition, everytime we come here, the hostess, Martha, has a smile on her face and always provides the best customer service. Not once when we have come here have we had a bad experience. Hence why we keep coming back, 10/10 would recommend.

I used to live in the area and the food, service and atmosphere was great then as it is today. This restaurant smelled delicious walking in, had no wait to be seated, food came up quick and there was no rush to leave I'm glad I stopped in, I was on a road trip and saw that it was open running.
