Location, location, location! The views are beautiful here, the breeze is unbeatable, and, most of all, the pizza is where it's at! The House Special (mushroom, pepperoni, toasted red and green peppers, thinly sliced red onions drenched in a lovely amount of HOME MADE mozzarella) is BOMB! Sauce wasn't too sweet, nor too spicy. The people here are very courteous and go there extra mile to make sure your experience with them is a good one. Highly recommend it.

HONEST REVIEW! Was riding our rental bike and strolled by this place! If you have some time to kill definitely stop by! Food is a good price and can feel a good amount of people! Me and my girl stopped by and were perfectly full! The customer service was top ten! Worth the stop! Won't be disappointed!!

Amazing pizza! We enjoyed our food and their special pizza is definitely the best choice! The fries were good too. The customer service was great and our order was ready in about 10 minutes which was fast compared to many other places. The indoor seating is cool but we walked for 2 minutes and sat by the bay instead. The location is very prime. Highly recommended! Make sure to check it out! Oh and the public parking is only 2 minutes away!

The service here is superior to anywhere else in the surrounding area! We went to grab a burger at another place but the workers were so rude. One of them actually whispered about me obviously not quiet enough because I dared to in the tiny place stand in the pick up area. Anyway, this place has superior food and the owners are so nice!! 100% recommend

I'm not a pizza lover. Actually pizza is one of my last choices but, but, Azar's pizza to me it's the BEST. When i crave pizza I always think about Azar's. We drive to Newport Beach from San fernando Valley just to eat their pizza. ?

Great time at Azar's Gourmet Pizza. They were kind enough to reserve 2 tables near the window for our party of 8 to celebrate my birthday and watch the boat parade. The food was great. Staff was friendly, efficient and very accommodating. We will be doing this again!

Call me crazy, but this place is legit. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Lived in Newport my whole life and never thought to eat here until tonight. Alfredo was solid, and sauce had a good rich flavor that was pretty authentic. Pizza was great. When I ordered the food on Door Dash I was amazed. Looked up the location and had a laugh because it is definitely in a touristy part of town. Won't let that fool me next time. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

I had the most delicious pizza there yesterday. Two thumbs up for Azar's Pizza in Balboa Island. Their pizza is so crispy and their cook is from Italy but I didn't have a pizza as delicious as this in Italy so Yes, I am recommending this business . Thanks for the good food and memory.

In Newport for a girls trip with six friends. Just got back from Catalina and too tired to go to dinner. Picked up pizza from Azar's. We ordered a large Godfather & Hawaiian to go. The order was ready rather quickly and we were all pleasantly surprised with the quality. Delicious, hot, great crust, and generous with the cheese. Would definitely eat here again.

Worst of the worst pizza. Ordered a large saug. and olive to go. The crust was so hard we could not eat it. Saug. was little squares of something, maybe pressed. Olives dumped in globs around pizza. Ended up throwing it away. NO spice at all. Who made it? Don't go to this place.
