Cute little ice cream shop at the Fun Zone. They carry a fair amount of ice cream flavors and they even have frozen bananas here if you're unable to grab one from Balboa Island! Definitely a fun treat.
This was located right next to Newport Landing and we decided to stop by to get hot chocolate. Well I wanted hot chocolate and my daughter wanted ice cream. The weather was about in the high 50s, but since I was layered up and running around, therefore it wasn't cold to me at the time. Service was exceptional, the gentleman that helped us was working by himself and there was a long line. He was very attentive, welcoming and always smiling. Ordered the legendary Balboa Bar! It was busy but not overly crowded and there's plenty of community seating in the little shopping area. Service was quick and excellent. The bar was delicious and so fresh--it's also MASSIVE! They also don't skimp on the toppings so it can end up being pretty dense! Recommend sharing!
