Staff said it'd be a 10-15 minute wait. 30 minutes later, nothing. I asked for a refund, and they were able to issue it *without the tip back*. The staff person remarked, "Well, you could have waited for your order." So I just paid for terrible service? I'll be calling my bank to get the remainder back. Update: 2 days later I was able to go through my bank to get a full refund. A representative of the business eventually reached out to offer apologies, a certificate and that they were looking into the situation. I felt I was able to convey my grievances about the situation to them properly. I'm glad that they've reached out and provided a resolution, but it's still unknown if the feedback will lead to revised employee practices around how they should handle beyond-longer-than-stated-wait-times and partial refunds.

I was excited when they had Rooster and Rice and Sushiriito here in Novato. Another great thing is that they are open late. There are hardly any eateries opened late except In n Out. Sadly, they removed my favorite restaurants from Local Kitchen which was Rooster and Rice and Sushiriitto and replaced it with the burgers and pizza style and Mexican foods. But there are so many of that type of food here. I haven’t frequented Local Kitchen as much since they changed the food options and it is pricey for a takeout style eatery.
