Their breakfast sandwich, eggs, avocado on a brioche bun with sausage is the best breakfast sandwich in the world. It’s $18 so I don’t do it every morning but I look forward to it all week.”

“Me and my family wanted some chicken for lunch, so we came to dhc for the first time. What a great choice. I’m not a big spice person, so I just got lite mild, and it was perfect. The staff was very nice, Richard explained the different spice levels and he explained them very well. We had a great time and I recommend coming to this spot if you’re in the area!”

“One of my favorite places in Novato. Its small, quiet and dark and it has a piano!The selections and service are top notch! I've been coming here since it opened and surprised that you can get such a high quality dining experience in the shopping plaza location that it's in.This is a testament to its owner/founder, Munther. You can tell he sweats the details and it all pays off. The ambiance is what you'd expect of a boutique steakhouse. It features icons of yesteryear and backs it up with top notch service that you don't find anymore. The soft piano in the background is a really nice touch and makes you forget that you are in a chaotic shopping plaza.The quality of meal is really top notch. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I've had their pork chop (amazing), Tomahawk (amazing as well but bring a date) and of course the ribeye are, you guessed it, AMAZING!I love their sides too. The creamed spinach is a wonderful treat, truffle fries, whipped potatoes and the roasted Yukon potatoes are killer. “We love to come here to relax with a beautiful pink bubbly. I brought my step mom with me one afternoon, and the wait person was so much fun! He joked with us, brought us a beautiful charcuterie board, and told us a few stories about the bar and its patrons. We had a lovely visit, and my step mom was very impressed, which was important. We've been back many times, and we love their wines.”

“Ate a second time at Cocina Antigua. The food is delicious. I got the chicken tostada and the flavors and spice of the shredded chicken is nice. The portion size was good for the price. My husband got the caldo, chicken soup and that portion is also on the large side. The owner and staff are so kind and friendly, nice atmosphere. The little store attached has some Mexican and Central-American groceries and other food items.”

Anything I've had is good: pot stickers, pad thai, drunken noodles, yellow curry (we get it spicy level 3-4), Thai Tea. Very quick service as well whether dining in, picking up or delivery. “Sushi Tri is tremendously delicious and correctly priced. My only grievance is that when you get miso soup to go, they put it in a container that has a small hole in the lid and they do not double bag that container so by the time you get home most of the soup has sloshed into the bag that holds the full order. “This is the best round table pizza in the Bay area. The pizza is cooked perfectly with no bubbles. It's crispy crust is good. They put on just the right amount of red sauce (not too much like other places). I can actually taste what a pizza should taste like. “Five stars! One of the very best Chinese food eateries in the entire Bay Area. Everything on their menu is amazing. But if you're like me and enjoy spicy food, then I recommend Ming Yen's Mongolian Beef, which is fabulous paired alongside their vegetable fried rice. Moving to Marin we'd go to Perry's in Larkspur occasionally; we were not eating out as much then with a young family but always enjoyed it when we did.Retiring in W Marin our eating out is primarily in Petaluma and I've been meaning to try Perry's in Novato ever since I read about its opening.With its central location and Perry's reputation it seemed a good choice for lunch with an old friend. We were not disappointed; a little tricky to find, the place has the full Perry's style with white tiled floor in the bar, mahogany furniture, friendly attentive service.We were seated in the back room with a high ceiling and looking out onto a hillside. Convivial atmosphere,busy with several large group tables. Perry himself came over to say hello and was unhurriedly working the room; a nice touch. His daughter who works there also came by.For me the food at Perry's is ok, not special and so it was that day. I had fish & chips and my friend a chicken salad.It was however the perfect rainy day to linger over lunch and enjoy the atmosphere.”

We also frequent Mulberry street pizza in San Rafael but sometimes it feels like too long a drive (and they go overboard on toppings IMO). This is the next best thing! While bummed that my favorite Chinese restaurant doesn't deliver to this side of town, I was happy to learn that Green Bamboo does, and it's still family owned and operated; including DELIVERY! I'd started my order via Yelp, but the price was outrageous, so I called the restaurant, and the owner told me she does deliver and even mentioned some of my neighbors who she delivers to! I haven't been to the restaurant in many years, but used to eat at Green Bamboo many years ago. I kept it simple, sweet and sour chicken, vegetable rice and spring rolls. The sween and sour chicken was not to my liking, there was a metalic taste to the sauce and pineapple, and it was not as crispy as I like. The vegetable fried rice was delicious! There were a lot of good sized pieces of veggies in the rice and it was flavorful. The spring rolls were crispy and the filling was fresh and delicious! The bonus fifth star is because they personally deliver your food, it's not a second or third party/business. The owner was so kind when she arrived, she wore a mask (I appreciate covid or any health safety practices from restaurants or delivery people) and she recognized me from years ago. Great customer service and I'll order again.”

“THIS IS SPECIFICALLY FOR THE DRIVE-UP IN DOWNTOWN NOVATO. I go here every morning before work. It's great. The baristas are super nice and very friendly. Coffee is very, very good. I honestly think I like the seasonal flavors at Marin Coffeen Roasters more than Starbucks'. The toasted marshmallow lattee is to die for. Its not candy coffee like Starbucks. Marin Roasters strikes a perfect balance between flavor and coffee, so youre still tasting coffee as well as flavoring. Pastries are also surprisingly good. Coffee is the same price as Starbucks.As far as "atmosphere", I go to the South Novato Blvd location which is a drive-up so there isnt really much atmosphere to be had to begin with which is why my atmosphere rating is 3 stars, but its still pretty cute. Do NOT take the 3 stars for atmosphere as a negative, its literally just because this specific location is a drive up building. The coffee place before them was also a drive up. The building they happen to occupy is specifically designed for drive up coffee. Also, they take walk-up orders and have dog treats. I don't know why they wouldn't do walk-up, but its still worth mentioning cause you can grab a coffee and a treat for your dog if you're on a walk.The Ignacio and San Anselmo location however ARE sit down cafes, but I've never been there. Judging by pictures, they look very nice and are the place you want to go to if you want to sit down and aren't just picking up coffee and a pastry to goTLDR the coffee is fantastic, I like it more than Starbucks, and the people are great. Go there. Support local and enjoy some of the best coffee in town.”

“This Taco Bell is located conveniently next to the Novato Goodwill store. I went to drop off some donations and was able to easily drive through and get a quick bite. Although I cook Mexican food from family recipes, there are plenty of items I love at Taco Bell. My favorite taco is the cheesy Gordita crunch. I also love pairing my Taco Bell with a Baja Blast. Did you know you can get Taco Bell on Door Dash in San Francisco? I also order a side of pintos and cheese and cinnamon twists. Another favorite and filling dish is the crunch wrap supreme. I usually get a lot of hot sauce and put a little on each bite.”

“Too busy to have our usual Burger Friday, so we did Burger Saturday. Haven't been here for a few years since the new owners took over from JJ's. I had the single (pepper Jack) cheeseburger with mayo and pickles, and my husband had a single classic burger with mayo, lettuce, onion, and tomato. Both burgers were excellent, very flavorful, and arrived quickly. Next time I would order mine medium rare though. Their default setting seems to be medium which is how my husband likes his. He also had fries and a chocolate shake. The fries were exceptional - crispy and salty. His milkshake got a thumbs up. Super nice people behind the counter. “This is a great hidden gem in Novato for mostly ice cream and a few snack foods. Here, I have discovered that Taki's & ice cream go very well together - what can I say tho because Im a spice fanatic! What's fantastic is that there is a Mexican grocery store right next-door where you can purchase produce, and some other Mexican foods. Happened to come here on an evening following an art party at studio for art, it was perfect for the elementary school kids to get some ice cream, have their birthday party cake and the art on the walls makes it a perfect photo scene for great pictures. Staff were super accommodating to our large group. They have so many unique ice cream flavors here and also some custom-made desserts that will blow your mind. I love coming to this ice cream shop, and I've never been disappointed with their quality and customer service.”

We were seated right away and all the food was brought to the table at the same time-which is not easy to to do for a party our size. The food/service was great and we didn't feel rushed.
