“Husband - Had a little time to kill and had always wondered about this Krispy Krunchy Chicken joint, so I asked the attendant what she recommended. They were in the process of closing early, but the chicken sandwich; which had to be made, is what she recommended because "it's kind of fire." Well, I thought, if it's worth postponing the shutdown process, I'll try it instead of the already made chicken peaces. It came with their cup of their house sauce for 54C, which tasted like creamy coleslaw. It was ok. 7/10 I also got their hot sauce for the sandwich, but it was just tangy instead of spicy. The wedges were plenty and filling but not flavorful, almost no seasoning. The sause helped a little but not enough. 6/10The sandwich itself was good, crispy breading and tasty pickles, onpar with Chick-fil-A. Ignoring the big chunk of gristle I bit into, I'd give it an 8/10.Overall, the price was right, and if you're on the road, this is way better than any gas station food.I left fool and satisfied, and that's what matters.“
“The service and food is amazing!! I recommend ordering your food in advance as they do have great food and lines either drive thru and inside are long on busy days. I recommend buying their spicy chicken, it is perfectly crisp and tender and the pickles are chefs kiss. The family feast is a great bargain for $33 you get two sandwiches, all cuts of the chicken, two sides and 4 biscuits!“
“Great service. The guys were fast sweet and professional. I needed pounds of mashed potatoes in the double for a group of hungry kindergartners. After driving around town looking for those potatoes and finally stumbled on a restaurant that opened before 1030am and these guys were it. Thank you.“
“Food isn't always consistent. I usually buy chicken pot pies and 3 times last year ( a little too often to be a mistake) I got a pot pie that seemed like it was the last pie to fill and it got very little gravy fill, a few vegetables and 1 small piece of chicken, the pie was nearly dried up inside because there was so little filling it baked down. I called and told them the second time & they only apologised. The last time was Christmas week 12/23/24. I had grabbed my food from the drive thru & left for the grandkids in Merced, 3 hours later, I found no spork or napkin to eat with. I heated the pie to warm for a minute in the microwave & opening the crust found I had more crust than filling. I haven't returned to the Oakdale store, I'll drive the 4.5 miles to Riverbank if I want KFC in the future!“
