“A different, but good version of a burger. We had a smash burger, aloha,. Burgers were messy and loved it. Chunky pineapple and small sliver of beef. Kind of odd yummy. Setting was bar type with spread out areas. Nice place to visit. Staff was upbeat. Nice for a change. As always post wherever your palate ends up.”

“Absolutely superb service and ambiance. The vibes are perfect for a date night. Bar sitting, outdoor seating, and beautiful decor indoors. That steak was tender and seasoned. Espresso martini was perfect as well the old fashion. Shrimp had a little garlic touch to it & the broccolini was steamed to perfection”

“I don’t know what else to ask from a restaurant. I ordered the Especial Burrito with chicken by the way. The atmosphere was amazing. It felt very homey, like you know you are in good hands. I believe this is run by a family, and they were very kind. They brought us anything we wanted with a smile on their face. The chips that they gave were hot and you could tell that they were made in-house. The burrito I got looked amazing (as a cheese lover, I was very happy with the generous amount of cheese on it) and tasted even better. I also tried the California Burrito, and they executed the flavors excellently. They had just enough flavors that you wouldn’t get a flavor overload, but enough that your taste buds will be filled with different tastes. Overall, I was extremely satisfied, and if I am ever in the area again, I will come back.”

“Had brunch on Sunday-and fabulous! All your brunch favorites and some with hispanic influence. Plentiful, tasty and fresh and excellent service even for our larger party of 8. Great value and they had a senior menu for those with smaller appetite. Highly recommend for this popular locals spot.”

“I've been driving by this place for years and seeing the big 40 beers writing on the roof and if you've seen my reviews, you know I love me some beer. So I finally got a chance to stop in, and I was pretty surprised by what I found. The inside had a fair amount of seats, in a couple of sections. The Bartender was great, and the beer menu was really good. Admittedly, I don't think there were 40 beers currently on tap, but it was 20+. And the food menu was Fire. I ended up with pastrami reuben, cause that's what I do. And it was good. Good ratio of meet, tasty pastrami, nice and cheesy. Super solid. My wife got the turkey melt and she was over the moon about it. Per her, "they heated up the turkey", which I guess isn't that common. So she loved the sandwich and said she wants to go back. So yeah, I think we're going back :)”

“I was at this restaurant yesterday afternoon. I waited on promptly. Ordered the steak off of the senior menu. One of my sides was baked potato. When my meal arrived I had mashed potato's with gravy. I told the waitress I had ordered a baked potato and she told me they were out of them would this work. I said yes since it was sitting in front of me and I shouldn't have since I am not suppose to eat this type of food. I feel I should have been told they were out of baked potato's and to choose another side or maybe even a different meal. This is not my first time there but the first time this happened and I really wasn't happy about it.”

“We stopped here for lunch last Friday after my friend ran a quick work errand in Oakdale.It's a historic bar from the fifties, so it was dark and dated. At first, we did not feel welcome, maybe because we're not regulars. No one was rude, just dismissive.My friend and I had patty melts with fries and a cup of bean soup. I don't think I've ever complained about patty melts. It was perfect. The fries were fresh and crispy too. The bean soup was okay, about a 7/10.Our server perked up and was so friendly by the end of our lunch. We loved hearing stories about the place and some of the history. It was heartwarming, and we love seeing family businesses succeed and the next generation take over. When our server asked if we liked clam chowder, we said yes, so she quickly returned to let us try a sample. This was the best clam chowder we've had, even better than Sam's Chowder House in HMB! A 20/10. It was so creamy, with big chunks of tender clam. We ended up ordering more to go. My husband was also impressed when he tried some for dinner. I finished it two days later, and it was still amazing!”

“What a great find, we are from out of town and decided to stop there for breakfast. The service was over the top, they were so friendly and always on top of everything. Then after going over the menu I decided to have lunch (my wife had breakfast), and the food was excellent, I should've ate only half of the steak melt, but it was so good, I ate it all. Would definitely come back again, kudos to the staff!”
