“Tea world is my go-to boba. They have great flavors, an easy to customize, systematic approach to ordering, super yummy icecream and shakes (including some of my favorite hard-to-find flavors, like halo-halo and ube) and they have the best staff. All the employees are really nice, know the product, can make recommendations and are polite. The shop is cute, has good art and is well designed. They update and display their specials on wall posters which is fun for trying new drinks. They also run frequent promotions. Love this place! Plus they almost never mess up an order! “Delightful sandwich shop in Downtown Oakdale. Easy to spot from the street. It was a warm day or else we would have enjoyed out sandwiches on their nice patio. We ended up taking them to a nearby brewery, win win! Great service! Our sandwiches were made fresh and quickly. We loved both sandwiches we tried , Philly cheese steak and an Italian. Love the decor and setup. Would love to visit again.“
“Driving thru the backroads, we decided to visit Oakdale, and see the quilt shop. Afterwards, we were a bit hungry and stopped at the Sno-White Drive In. Had the super burger combo, and my wife had the chicken strips combo. The food was tasty, cooked as requested. Afterwards, my wife had a chocolate cone. Looked real good, but I was already stuffed. The decor was very different, like you were at one of those 50's diners: checkered black and white tile on the counter walls, black and white on the floors, and memorabilia signage on the walls. Would definitely come back again.“
“So the credit card machines weren't working. I waited for them to restart. After 10 minutes of two employees trying to get it to work I thanked them and was going to leave. They offered me 3 cookies for my inconvenience. It made my day. It was my wife's birthday and everything was great from that point. Thank you.“
“Delicious donuts and amazing customer service! I placed an order via DoorDash and the owner was kind enough to call me and offer substitutes for the donuts I ordered that were out of stock. I loved how she went above and beyond and didn't just substitute with random donuts. The Vietnamese coffee is also a must try! “The second-best donut in Modesto is hidden at this hole-in-the-wall shop. The cake donut is just a teeny bit crisp on the outside (so, different in style from Mr. T's) and fluffy on the inside. Selection is varied but not huge -- the strength seems to be in cake and old-fashioned donuts. On my visit, there were also apple fritters and three varieties of filled donuts. I did not see crullers or chocolate cake donuts.Don't be put off by the neighborhood (it's just light industrial, nobody's going to bite you) or the building (California rural architecture is like this -- the cheerful mural is a sign that someone is serious about this business).“
“This place saved us driving back from Camp Tawonga with a grumpy toddler. The fro yo hit the spot, the bathroom was used by all members of the family, and the play area was sooooo appreciated. Plus, it's in the same shopping plaza as a huge antique store. I want to come back next time I'm on this route.“

“Menchie's is my only go to place for frozen yogurt! Way better than Yogurt Mill in my opinion. Their frozen yogurt is so creamy and so flavorful! All of the flavors they have on rotation are delicious and they have like every topping available to choose from! I also love that they have a rewards program! Every time we go in, the employees and owners are so friendly too. Love our local Menchie's!“
“I decided to stop by yogurt mill during my lunch break to get a little something before going back to work. I was craving two things, I wanted a shake, but I also wanted a cup of their salted caramel pretzel yogurt. I was talking to the lead on shift. Natalie and I told her that I wanted both. Right away she had the idea of making me a cold brew shake with the salted caramel pretzel flavor yogurt, and oh my goodness it was amazing, she gave me everything I needed. Her customer service was incredible. Her friendliness and compassion towards not only me, but other customers was felt. Not only was she able to provide me with an amazing shake., she also provided me with an even more amazing experience and I will definitely be going back!“

We stoped in for a quick bite to eat for the first time and was met with some of the best customer service with a smile and one of the very best double bacon mouth watering cheeseburgers that I have ever tasted! Alys was on top of her game, made me feel like I was family! She manicured our table really well and made sure our drinks was always full and also made sure we had everything possible to enjoy our lunch! “I don't eat out much, and heard my friend talking about the KO burger here. I am so tired of Fast Food burgers and large Corporations shrinking their food, so I came here and man it was worth it. I spent 13.00 on the KO combo, if you need to eat more food to fill up, then you may want to smoke less ?.When I arrived it seemed like every stoner in the district called each other, so I was a bit worried that I would get my food a bit late. There was only one cook and people waiting, but they handled their tickets well. My food came out no later than a burger should take to cook.The cashier(ess) was helpful and nice :), the food was amazing. I've been in the food industry for years, and will say for the price that you pay, this is one the best burger joints in Modesto.“

“We wanted to try paletas, so we tried this location. Our first visit the gentleman was so friendly & helpful. He had great suggestions & knowledge of all the flavors. We ordered 4/5, the Oreo was delicious!! All were yummy! So we went back again, got 6. The lady was nice. We felt bad having to keep asking what flavors were what. My only suggestion is to have a list of the flavors so we can see/read what each is. We love their choc. bananas & paletas, and we love to help a small business! We will be back! Our favs are Oreo, and water based strawberry, and the pecan cream one.“
