Wonderful experience. Terrific service and very friendly. Will go again. Was able to stroll around the old home and take in the atmosphere. Food and service was better than the Empress Hotel in Victoria, Canada. Will be pleased you went and it's in Oakdale

Tea at 202 offers a superb experience with its reservation-only seating in a charming Victorian home. The impeccable decor, delightful tea, and pastries create a memorable ambiance. The owner's friendly tour adds a personal touch, making customer interaction truly exceptional. My wife and I, who had a reservation on the 6th of January at 11 AM, particularly enjoyed the apricot scone, chicken salad sandwich, and the irresistible sugar cookie. The experience brings to mind my favorite tea spot back home, The St. James Tearoom in Albuquerque.

We had the best time today with our family. Everything was so delicious and perfectly done. So much attention to detail that shows how much they care about their business. Lovely staff of sisters ❤️ We will be back!

Exceptional service and atmosphere so lacking in today's world. Love antiques, great pastry and foods, history or Victorian homes, well you don't have to pick, you get them all in an amazing concert with owners on site. A rare treat in any town, but it's right here in Oakdale Ca.

We had a great time! Food and tea was amazing. The whole experience was amazing. If you think you won't fill up for lunch you are wrong, it was plenty. Oly and Judy were great hostesses. We already booked for next month and are bringing more friends. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

This was one of the best tea experiences of my life! Beautiful house, beautiful ladies serving you and conversing with us. Thank you ladies for sharing with us your love for tea and china. The food and desserts are delicious.

My family kindly hosted my baby shower at Tea at 202 and it was such a wonderful venue! The women who own this beautiful business are so thoughtful, hospitable, and went out of their way to personalize our experience, making every detail special. The home is beautifully restored and every piece of furniture and eclectic china is in perfect condition (you must tour upstairs). The way they’ve laid out the tables make for an intimate experience if you’re attending with a smaller group, but it’s also suitable for a large group. We had 25 guests and it was perfect. Now, the food! Everything that came out of the kitchen was delicious and the guests were so impressed at the beautiful presentation. Some of my favorites were the apricot scones, strawberry macarons, and egg salad sandwich (I didn’t know a simple egg salad could be so good!). The ingredients are garden fresh and seasonal, so you can come back over and over and experience something new :) while the food is dainty, the overall serving is enough to fill you up just like a lunch. The tea is perfectly prepared and selected with care by the owner. The price is very reasonable for all that is included, the atmosphere, and the level of service you receive. This is a beautiful spot to host an event or have a special experience with a friend or small group. I look forward to visiting again!

If you're ever passing through Oakdale make sure you give this Tea House a try. It is exceptional! Every detail has been so well executed. The atmosphere, ambiance and staff are superb. The food quality was excellent and delicious. All the food is made in house. I so enjoyed the fine China and tea cups as it brought a special level of refinement to the tea. The Victorian house has been decorated with fine antiques and they also let you view the upstairs which gives you a snapshot of how the Victorian home may have looked in its early years. Don't forget to get reservations as they are only open a few days a week. I am so looking forward to the next time I get to experience this wonderful teahouse, and I hope that you do too.
