The food was good and I normally don't eat Chinese food. But this place was good. I would go back The service was good. They were nice inattentive. The ambiance was ok. Nothing special.

Fresh-tasting, spicy and delicious. Good portions. Nice versions of classics (hot and sour soup, Mongolian combo).

I'm just giddy that we tried Becky's. In the place I lived before moving to Oakland, there was an expensive, high-end Chinese place we loved. The freshest vegetables, the best ingredients. We Doordashed every option and fairly hated all of them. Then we found Becky's. We've tried it three times and like it better each time. Even Doordashed, it shows up piping hot and wonderfully presented. The walnut prawns are excellent. The wor won ton soup was what I've been looking for since we moved here 5 years ago. I drive by the location on College Ave. almost every day but never thought of stopping in. Can't wait to try it in person.

Man this stunk. U get what you pay for- tasted like they had leftover gung pao from someone else's uneaten lunch. It was deep fried chicken with sesame - very weird. Not typical gung pao. Yes there were celery and peanuts which was like gung pao- but bad. Super salty and the dry string beans should be called soggy string beans. Hard pass.

Absolutely incredible. Hands down best American-Chinese food I've ever had. Literally every dish my wife and I ordered was the best of that dish I have ever had. From the hot & sour soup I got, the wor wonton soup my wife got, and all the dishes we got because I wanted to try everything just after how good the soup and plum wine was. Highly recommend the house fried rice, beef chow mein, general tsaos chicken, sweet & sour pork, and the honey walnut shrimp. The service is just as incredible as the food. I say just spend the money and get a bunch of food with a group of friends and try everything.Vegetarian options: Spring Rolls, fried rice, tofu, mushrooms, and veggies are all delicious here.Dietary restrictions: Wife has some food allergies to some of their ingredients and has been coming here for years without an issue of cross contamination.

War wonton soup lacked flavor. Pork fried rice and dry fried green beans too salty.

Such a delightful neighborhood restaurant. I had a pregnancy craving for classic Chinese-American comfort food, so I came to Becky’s and way over-ordered. Every single dish hit the spot. The food was fresh, the service was friendly, and portions were quite generous. So excited to eat my leftovers later!
