Super fun and lively pocha, with tons of delicious food too! The seating is open and spacious, and the ambiance is great, feels just like a pocha in Korea. Not to mention, the food is bomb! ? My favorite item was the spicy pork belly with cheese; the pancakes and marinated crab ? (their specialty) are super good too. Definitely an awesome place to hang out with friends and grab some great drinks and food!??

Clean Korean pub vibe. Food was great and service was above and beyond. We tried tomato sauce geran-mari, diy rice ball, fried rice, pork bbq with cheese, soy marinated blue crab, and jeon gol (like Korean army stew). Pork BBQ with cheese is is must have. Soy marinated crab was pretty good. Tomato sauce geran-mari was beyond pur expectation good. Fried rice didn't come out as grilling hot as expected and was spicier than we expected (we were expecting crunchy scorched fried rice on the hot stone but ours wasn't that hot as temperature wise) The service was above and beyond. They were very good at giving us water. Our bbq pork and cheese got cold and hard as we had a variety of food on our table to enjoy. I asked if we could get it reheated. They happily reheated for us AND gave us more cheese (I believe they may of overheard us with low spicy tolerance and accommodated us). I strongly recommend this Korean Pocha especially for late evening cravings and social gatherings.

I came here on a Friday night with my family and the wait was around 40 minutes. There were 8 parties ahead of us on the waitlist, and they call your name outside so you have to be there in person. We got seated and noticed the restaurant was incredibly loud. It is a bar style place so be aware of that, we had to yell to even hear each other across the booth. We ordered after looking at the menu and seeing many reviews. After 30 minutes the first dish came out, the spicy pork belly with cheese. We were confused by this because we expected the crab to come out first since marinated crab isn't cooked. We had to wait another 10 minutes for the tteokbokki with beef brisket to come out. Then the soy marinated crab came out a few minutes later. Then after asking for the chicken dish multiple times, it came out after another 10. All in all we waited 50 minutes for four dishes to come out, with varying times in between. This is understandable because it was busy but when we asked our server how much longer she didn't give us a time. In fact, when she brought out the last dish (the chicken) she said "oh you guys want a picture which is why you're rushing us". I find that statement incredibly rude considering she also refused to give us any time estimates on the food. Overall, everything was needlessly spicy. The chicken with green onion salad was smothered in two sauces, one of which was wasabi. It was not even adverised as spicy on the menu and it was so spicy I could not eat it. In fact, the lingering taste was so strong for one of my family members that her mouth went numb and she mentioned she wanted to vomit multiple times. The spicy pork belly with cheese was well balanced since the cheese balanced out the spice, but the cheese was already solid and barely stretchy by the time the other food had gotten there. The tteokbokki beef belly was also surprisingly spicier than we expected and left half our table with runny noses and begging for water. Also, it barely had any beef in it and the portion was pretty small. The soy marinated crab had jalapenos with was unexpected but also was the most disappointing dish. It tasted like it was barely marinated and for $35 the portion was underwhelming. By the end of the night, I found myself embarassed to have brought everyone here and I could tell we were all disappointed. The server was helpful, but her remarks were disrespectful. The wait was typical, but the food wait was insane to me especially because of the spacing between dishes. Overall, I wouldn't come here again and the videos I've seen online for this place definitely catfished us.

We got here just in time before the huge dinner rush since discovering this place on tik tok! The food overall was good. Everything had a good kick to it. The soy marinated crab was really good and very popular. The DIY rice balls were so good and fun that you get to make your own. Soft tofu Soup was piping hot and very good. The cheese and chicken were also a hit! Will definitely be back! Service was so so once they got really busy.

Great food and atmosphere for groups. I shared the Pork Belly BBQ with Cheese, Steamed Egg, Seafood Pancake, Boneless Fried Chicken & Fries, and DIY Rice Ball with five other people. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the Pork Belly BBQ with Cheese. I want to come back to try more items on the menu

Love this place! One of my favorite places to drink and eat in Oakland. Everything I've tried has been good, but the boneless fried chicken and fries and the steamed egg are my favs. Staff is friendly and the vibes in there awesome. It's always a good time here!

We came in the night and it was relatively empty so we were quickly seated! We got the kimchi fried rice, a chicken stew, and the chicken feet/ Hanshin Dakbal. Kimchi Fried rice- 10/10 this was my favorite dish. Something about it hit the sweet and savory sensations that I didn't know I needed. It is a must! Chicken stew- I am not sure what it was called but it was a pot with chicken and vegetables. We both tried it and felt like it was kind of bland. Though there is slight spice, the chicken itself was dry even after bathing in the soup. Hanshin Dakbal - This was extremely spicy! Though I love chicken feet, the burning sensation was overpowering. Even if you have a high spice/ medium spice tolerance I would still be wary.
