The food is great. It's our go- to for Indian. Fast, convenient and fair-priced. Also appreciate the staff that provides good service when we eat in.

There are some amazing dishes at this restaurant. The naan and samosas are heaven. The sauces for the dishes fantastic. The reason I can not put five stars. Is the meat. The chicken was pre cooked I don't know how long ago dry and chewy. Even the sauce could not soften it up. If they served fresh chicken it would be a five. Definitely worth trying.

Everything was delicious! My favorite was the chana masala. The fried peanuts are like nothing I've had before, in a great way (but not date food since it's loaded with raw onions and garlic ?). People are really nice and it's now my go-to spot when I'm in the area. I can't wait to try more of the menu!

First of all the food is amazing and very comforting. Probably some of the best food I have had in Oakland in a really long time. Please try this place out! You won't regret it!

A good example of "never judge a book by its cover" ...the restaurant is in the back of a mall that, on a Sunday night, was shut down and empty. Just a few tables - we were the only customers eating in. However, given the quality of the food, there should have been a line backing up the street! We had lamb mushroom, chicken Tikka masala, and lassis - everything was so flavorful, well-spiced, and delicious. A complimentary dish of rice pudding was the perfect indulgent end to an outstanding meal. Can't forget to mention the friendly staff and excellent service...looking forward to a return visit!

(Ordered thru Door Dash and cross-posted) ...Nothing in this order tasted like it should have. No care AT ALL taken in how it was prepared. Aloo Cauli looked like the gravy entombment pictured. Garlic Naan burnt The chicken in Chicken Tikka Masala was bland and chewy Vegetable Samosa mostly just potatoes (also bland), and rice had no flavor (seemingly steamed out from over-cooking) ... it was like they created this order for Seniors on a restricted diet ... Horrible and equally so because my Hungry turned into Hangry ... NEVAH again!

Solid spot for when the momo craving hits. Everything is fresh and the dipping sauces are amazing.

The restaurant is located inside a complex with a lot of other shops. It's hard to find unless you are in the complex or know about it.We went here for lunch and ordered curry and naan. The food is tasty and the portion size is good for 2 people. Not sure if this restaurant only caters to Uber eats or other delivery services because no care or thought is put into the interiors or the ambience. It looks pretty beat down. Parking is available on the street but it's paid

That’s more of a takeout than and sit down restaurant but god the food is great! French born, wife Asian, well travelled let’s say, formerly trained as a mitron in the restaurants of my uncle former 2 stars michelin chef, family vineyard owner, born in a family heavily exposed to food and wine with roots in Bordeaux, Burgundy, Piemonte Italy, and Bruxelles… never been addicted to a take out place like this and we lived in many places megapoles and smaller family towns… I don’t know how they do that korma sauce! The food (forget the location, ambiance, decoration, table service… all that is show off and useless if the food is not good and that’s unfortunately the case of the majority of restaurants… you are most of the time better off cooking at home or learn to…), the food here is incredible. We did not taste again a dish that does not beat in quality and know-how most of the Indian, Pakistani, South Asian places we’ve tried all over the world in this casual family food category.

A great spot in Montclair Village for takeout (there are a couple tables but it is small inside). Their food is delicious- we love the momos, creamy curries, variety of naan, and their biriyanis. Most of the curries are pretty mild but the biriyanis have a good bit of spice. The staff are very friendly and ordering over the phone for takeout is very easy with the parking lot adjacent.

The best biryani I've had in the bay... it's the wet type, not the dry rice style. Since literally nobody makes it like this, 5 stars. You'd think that place in Oakland that has "biryani" in the name should nail it, but nope it's the same same as everywhere else in the bay area.
