Consider this a very late review. I did not know the location but happened upon it after dinner with my friend. I really enjoyed the contrasting hot and cold dessert with a warm donut and ice cream. Hard to go wrong with such a dessert.
Okay , have you ever had a hot donut with cold ice cream before ?! Because I sure have not. This is a pick up to go ice cream stand next door to burns superstar in Oakland. It was pretty delicious. You have to eat it right away as the ice cream melts fast. The combination of the two was very good.

This was pretty awesome. I love donuts, and I love ice cream, but I'd never thought to combine the two! I ordered a cookies and cream donut, and holy cow, it was so good. 1. This is a must-have if you're in the area. 2. The ice cream donut combo is *specifically the must-have. If you're ever gone to your favorite donut shop and asked for a donut *hot off the press, that's what this was like. A warm, fresh donut but with some partially soupy ice cream inside haha.
