Love the patio ambiance and murals. The sashimi salad was excellent with good balance of spicy sweet sour taste from the apple strips. Also their rice is GOOD. Will go back to try more rolls.
I have been eating here for years and have always enjoyed their sushi. Today I decided to try out the patio for an early dinner and was disappointed. The set up was nice and the artwork was on point but the smell! Idkw the hell it was but it reminded me of dog pee. And who wants to eat smelling dog pee the whole time. One my go-to sushi spots in Oakland. A little out of the way and in between Uptown and Piedmont this place is worth going to. My favorite dish is the bluefin tuna roll with a dab of truffle sauce!
