The food is definitely above average, and a well done deviation from traditional sushi fare.What made the food all the better is the Steve Jobs/Apple-inspired packaging and attention to detail. Whomever conceived of the design and user-friendly (eater-friendly?) all-in-one dining mechanism is a freaking visionary.
My sister loves the Krispy Rice in LA so I had to try it when they opened one in Oakland! I think the quality of the fish was decent, but found the krispy rolls to be overly oily. Maybe takeout might be better than delivery if you can eat it right away, because it almost seemed soggy.
