Extremely rude, yelled at me on the phone. I had waited 20 min and turned out he hasnt started my food yet. Turns out this guy leaves the kitchen for long periods of time without working on food. I immediately cancelled the order and will take my business elsewhere. This is not the business you want to support

I placed an order for personal pick up at the Oakland food hall that was supposed to be ready at 12:06 pm. I arrived at Oakland food hall just prior to 12:06 and was told by an employee that Mr5% more wasn't open. They also told me that this happens quite often with Mr 5%, so much so that they had a flier up with their phone number on it.I called the number posted and I asked the gentleman that answered why they took my order if they couldn't fulfill it. He told me that they weren't there, but they could have my order ready in about 40 minutes. I explained to him that I had to get back to work and couldn't wait 40 minutes, his reply was "it is what it is". At this point I was furious with this gentleman's attitude. I told him that he shouldn't be accepting orders he couldn't fulfill.Shortly after I got it off the phone with a person from Mr 5% and after the supposed pickup time I received a text stating that my water was ready. I asked the person at Oakland food court if my order is ready and they said it was not.Not only did Mr 5% not fill my order, or apologize for not updating their page on Oakland food Hall's website, I feel as though they are trying to scam me out of my money.

This is the worst bbq i have ever had. The brisket is dry, hard, and tasteless. The sides are small. The links are hot dogs. Save your money.

Just got two sandwiches. One brisket one link. Worst brisket sandwich I ever had. Dryed up meat hard like jerky with no sauce. For seventeen dollars. Just say no !!

The BBQ was really good! The rolls warm and sweet ribs were soft and juicy and the steak very flavorful! I Definitely recommend!!

I ordered the 1-meat Platter thru DoorDash. I was expecting a decent amount of food, and it got served in a little 6x7 inch box. I got 3 ribs, some beans, potato salad, and buttery rolls. They don't use meal trays. They just dump everything in a little box, and separate it with wax paper. All this for $25.99. The ribs were tough and hard to chew. DD driver waited 30 mins. This is a ghost kitchen.

"Mr Five Percent More" is a ghost kitchen at the Oakland Food Hall in East Oakland. I have been reviewing ghost kitchens since 2020. This is an example of a ghost kitchen that uses stock photos and tempting ads to get sales. On a Thursday night, I saw that Doordash was offering multiple promos to try this place. Also, no Yelp reviews? First to Review- FTR...no problem! Okay, so this is a BBQ/ Soul Food restaurant. I ordered the "1-Meat Platter," and I picked: ribs, potato salad, and beans. Price: $25.99. Now, for $26, I was expecting a decent amount of food. But I was not impressed when my entire order was served in a small 6" x 7" box. Let's not use the words "rip off." A Yelp review is a consumer experience. FOOD: You get 2-stars because all the menu items were served. The ribs were tough, hard to eat, and the BBQ sauce was bland. The beans were too sweet, and the potato salad was okay. Best item were the sweet and buttery rolls. PRESENTATION: Grade (0/5): OMG, at least use a food tray to serve your food. Serving hot foods and cold foods together in a paper box, separated by wax paper must be violating some health code (or there should be one). SERVICE: Grade (2/5) DD Driver had to wait 30 mins for this order. No receipt on bag. No business card, no thank you note. VALUE: Grade (1/5): $26 for this is way too much. This place isn't Everett & Jones. For $26, I should get 6-8 meaty tender ribs, and generous sides. Start using food trays, it looks better. Would I order again? No thanks
