I don't know why the reviews are so low here. Sunday morning, and it's fairly steady. Still pretty quiet inside though. I honestly get overwhelmed with a large menu when there's a line lol but that's a me thing. I just get a 6 cheese bagel with plain cream cheese, simple. They toasted the bagel, it wasn't super toasted which I would have liked a little more toasted, but that's a personal preference thing. Decent amount of cream cheese. I also got a strawberry and cream streusel, I should have asked for that to be warmed up also, but it was still pretty good. Service wasn't friendly, but wasn't unfriendly either. Overall a good experience, and I'll probably return if I'm in the area and in the need of some breakfast.

I ordered a blueberrry bagel with cream cheese and the cashier forgot to add the cream cheese . N/p. So when it’s time to add the payment for the cream one of the cooks who made the bagel told the cashier to charge me the same exact total as the bagel. Okkkkk so your charging twice for a bagel? Than she screamed and said ok $2.00. That woman sounds like she doesn’t know her job she than slammed my bagel on the register and told the cashier to figure out the payment. Customer service was TERRIBLE AND THE LADY WAS VERY RUDE. Didn’t catch her name but she has. A short haircut with glasses petite frame. Watch how you treat customers cause karma ALWAYS come back around. She definitely needs more training on how to properly speak with consumers with kindness and respect. Very disappointing… update I have the name of that disrespectful woman who threw my bagel down & will report her nasty behavior to management first thing Monday. Her attitude was nasty and unacceptable & should never be tolerated.

In the area and I noticed that there was a Noah's Bakery in the area. There aren't many Noah's around anymore and the one in Alameda closed for at least 10 years too. Since I had gone to the one in Berkeley, I still had the Noah's app. I looked at the Yelp page and was surprised to see a 2.1 rating with most Yelpers commented on the poor service. I placed an order for a Texas Brisket Egg Sandwich and a blueberry bagel, sliced for a 11:40am pickup on a Friday. I arrived at 11:30am for my pickup and the clerk said perfect timing as he was sealing my bag and he handed it to me. So no issues with the app ordering and pickup with friendly service. The sandwich was tasty with fried eggs, smoked beef brisket, cheddar and smoky Chipotle aioli with my choice of a challah bagel. Just wished there was a little more brisket in the sandwich. I had a good experience with my app order and pickup and will be back again.

Always like coming here for a breakfast bagel or bagel and cream cheese whenever I'm in the area. Quick, tasty, and reliable whenever I'm craving a bagel!

Came in here this morning to grab some bagels and the lady at the cash register I believe was probably new or something. I wanted to make sure that I got my loyalty points so I asked the lady that was going back-and-forth preparing the bagels if she could just double check and make sure, that lady was Jasmine and she was extremely nice dropped what she was doing to help me. She could tell I was in a bit of a rush due to where I was parked. I had a bunch of stuff in my hand( wallet, cream cheese etc) and was struggling a bit. She helped me packed everything up and didn't make me feel rushed. She was so delightful, this Noah's is lucky to have such a dedicated employee, you don't get customer service like that anymore.

Noah's Bagels in Oakland is dumb. If you call them to order ahead, they'll tell you they don't do phone orders, but you can order pick-up on Doordash. When you tell them you'd rather not pay extra just to order, they tell you to download their app. For one order. And it wasn't like I heard a crowd in the background when I called. They really *could* have taken my order over the phone. Guessing the millennial I talked to was "triggered" over having to do a TON of EXTRA work. Like taking a phone order. Oh yeah, and the app wasn't working. Kept crashing when I tried to pay. Noah's, ya might win some but ya just lost one!!!! Heading over to Beauty's bagel. I don't mind paying a few dollars more for good customer service.

I have no idea why this place has so few stars. Maybe I'm missing something but I think this place is great! At the time I arrived (around 8:30) there was plenty of parking right outside. When I walked in I was greeted right away. I explained it was my first time and I needed a min to review the menu he said no problem and let me know if you have questions on anything. I told him what I was looking for which wasn't on the menu and he talked me through it and created it for me and even recommended the type of bagel I should get it on. The food came out very quickly. They have fresh OJ and bottled, coffee and also pastries. There is a little bit of seating inside and a few tables outside. The food was really good and I'm a fan!

To the people working the Saturday morning shift you all have my heart!! They were out of Asiago bagels so they melted cheese on a different bagel! It was very good and special to me!! Sometimes in life it's the small acts of kindness such as an anonymous bagel employee melting cheese of a poppy seed bagel! I have more respect for them than any soldier I wish one thousand years of happiness and prosperity for the employees of this Noah's bagels and also this specific location on this crazy thing we call Earth

Hi! I'm the dasher came to pick up the order earlier at 5:40 am today. I always order food from ur store cuz I live down the street near it. When I came in and asked about the order. A man raised his voice really loudly that "we open at 6." I'm only driver, I don't know you open what time. The restaurant owner or manager needs to set up the time for pick up at 6 or 6:30. I told him really calm but he kept yelling and tried to argue with me that he not set up the time. Then another man did the same thing to me . They both really mean. I just wanted to let them know that the restaurant needs to set up the time pick up by whoever applied for DoorDash, but they kept raise their voice with me. You should check the camera and see it. If u want them prepare order for DoorDash early, you should let them know. It's not fair for me to drive 7 miles go there and have to mark store closed and get only $3. Can you do something about it. Thank you so much!

I had the pleasure of being served by Brandon at Noah's New York Bagels and couldn't be happier with the experience. His patience and helpfulness were remarkable, making my visit both enjoyable and memorable. Brandon's kindness stands out, ensuring that each customer feels valued. In a fast-paced environment, his attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile do not go unnoticed. Highly recommend visiting when Brandon's on shift for an outstanding service experience!

Repeat the order three times because the cashier is mumbling. Cashier cancels the order and reenters it to make sure it's right. I count out the number of items (only 3) on my fingers and go through them like I would with a toddler. She confirms. Charge the card. Order comes. Wrong. Only 2 items; one forgotten. Just a staggering level of incompetence.

So I'm a former employee at this specific lakeshore location and if I could give this place a 0 stars I would've. I want to start off by saying DO NOT EAT AT THIS BAGEL PLACE !!! I worked here almost a year until I was wrongfully terminated by Fred Barzin (the current manager) just the same way I watched him fire almost half the staff while I was there. This man does not wash his hands, like ever. He comes back from smoking a cigarette every 10 minutes and does not wash his hands. He touches the bagels with his raw hands and prepa fresh baked bagels on top of dirty trash cans. This man likes to argue with customers and trash talk to employees Infront of a full house, just awful customer service. Lots of " fresh" vegetables are always rotten or close to being rotten. Below I have attached a quick video of Fred touching bagels with his barehands no gloves. I'm in no way trying to negatively biased towards this Noah's because I was fired from here but for the concern of the community I would advise everyone to stay away from this specific location.

I love all the Noah's stores including this one closest to my place. For years my fav combo has been the chocolate bagels with cream cheese. I like their cream cheese too. The workers are usually chill and fellow working class Bay natives so def feel right at home. Decent seating. Just wish it was open later than 2 PM (esp on the weekend when I finally make it out the house lol)! Thanks Noah's!
