Been going here for years. The new management / ownership is phenomenal. The place is still the same yet somehow a little better. The chicken and churros brunch is absolutely the best meal I've ever had and continues to be my #1 fried chicken experience.
Went back to Shakewell after being out of the area for several years, and it still has the quality of food and ambience that I remember! The dishes are so well put together and touch every part of your tastebuds - salty, sweet, spicy... Just so good! Service was great and I love the new outdoor seating area so that more people can enjoy! Highly recommend!

Service was really great! Everyone was friendly and food and drinks came out quickly. Server was circling around the whole time, so we didn’t have to wait ever.Steak dish was good, especially the mashed potatoes. We also liked the hummus, croquettas, and the salad.Cute spot, cold inside though.
