On top of pricy burger you pay 1.99 for bacon and you pay 1.99 for no bacon. The patty is thin as paper. Not worth the hype.

I was surprised to learn that there was a Shake Shack out here, I had thought the only one nearby was in Vegas. So I decided to take my son there so that he could experience it, but we were kind of let down.I got the Golden State Double, (I added Avocado) which I thought would be a much bigger burger than what I got for $15. It definitely wasn't worth the cost as it was a little bigger than a McDouble with avocado added. But I will never pay that much again for a mediocre double hamburger. The Bacon Cheese Fries were pretty good, and had a decent amount of bacon which surprised me, but I doubt I will be coming back any time soon.

With the exception of my last three takeout orders, whenever I order and/or add bacon to my burger, I would get these charred, skimpy pieces of bacon, not the equivalent of the 3.00 they charge for adding bacon; conversely, on one of those pick up orders, I noticed that “dine in” guest had several pieces of nice savory bacon on their burger.

Best Shake Shack in the area. I live in Orinda but drive through the tunnel to this location because it runs so well, and staff are so great.

First visit to Oakland location. I actually enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich better than Shackburger. I thought K-BBQ Cheese Fries was overrated, there's no Kimchi! Next time I'd just get cheese fries or regular fries.Yuzu Honey Lemonade was delicious, highly recommend it.

Most recently I went on my birthday, it was tight. I find it annoying when the unhoused wait right in front and ask for something.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options to choose from.Parking: It can be difficult depending on the time but tbh there's plenty.Kid-friendliness: It's kid-friendly. The portions are do-able for a child and they have more than just burgers also; eg. Grilled cheese.

First time trying shake shack! The burger is really good. The bread was a little soggy but the flavor in the meat makes up for it. The chicken sandwich was delicious too! Crisp and fresh! The fries left more to be desired but were warm and crisp.

3 stars for ease of ordering, on time ready for pick up and yummy crinkle cuts. Burgers were cold. Size was small and overall taste was bland. Not the same quality of Shake Shack Bryant Park. True Burger either on Grand or Broadway for the win. Sorry S S.

Mediocre burger was tiny and not filling, the shake was decent but you might as well go to jack in the box And risk it.
