The cutest little tea shop! I came here to study on a Friday afternoon and it was the perfect spot. I got here around 12:30pm and it wasn't too busy so I managed to grab a table by the window. It started getting a lot busier about an hour later so I'm glad I went when I did. I got a matcha latte with almond milk and it was amazing. The matcha flavor was strong and it wasn't too sweet which was perfect for my taste. The ambiance was lovely as well. I noticed lots of people working on their laptops so it seems like a great place to be productive for a while. They also have a bathroom in the back.

One of the best tasting milk tea spots I've had in a while . The place first off is super cute . The staff is so friendly . It's open and spacious and cute decor and items to buy that would make great gifts ! I love how I can taste the tea and roast and the boba was perfectly sweet and chewy .

I will admit that I judged this place by its store front -- thinking that it would be mediocre Whitewashed milk teas. I was pleasantly surprised and kinda sad I've walked in a couple times previously before getting myself to try it. They have a cute gift area, so if you a small gift idea! They also have cute boba accessories by the register for any other boba lovers. I always get the iced chai latte. It has a lot of spiced chai flavor, not overly sweet and best yet- its made with OAT milk. Its hard to find good milk-alternative milk teas shops. They also have some pastries and they collaborate with local bakeries too. They try to be eco-friendly, so if you are a regular - you can leave your tumbler there (they'll tag your name on it and you can reuse it each time! Neat idea.)

Found ourselves in Piedmont Oakland and was pleasantly surprised about how safe it was here! The space is open concept with lots of seating but lacks ambiance, yet plenty of people were happy spending their time here on their laptop or hanging with friends. We got the strawberry matcha and hojicha latte both with boba and they were mid as the gen z say, but the boba pearls tasted fresh and pleasantly chewy. This made up for the steep price we paid. The service here was great though and got our drinks out promptly which was a plus, but not enough to come back for seconds.

Neighborhood tea and boba spot offering plenty of Asian inspired drinks. I came specifically for their matcha after having lunch in the area. They use premium grade, ceremonial matcha so you know it's already going to be good. They also sell lots of cute stationary items from greeting cards, pins, stickers etc. I got my drink to go, but they have ample tables and seating if you want to lounge around or work here.

Omg. The best jasmine tea latte I've ever had in my LIFE. I savored it, and wished I got a large. SO GOOD!!!!! The shop is super cute, the staff were so friendly and incredibly kind, smiling and not rushing anyone! The only con is that the seats fill up fast and the Wi-Fi seems to fill up and not let folks on after a certain limit. Butttttt there are plenty of outlets so as long as you have your hotspot on you, you're good!

Deliiciouuuuus boba!! We came in 5 minutes before closing and they had 1 serving of boba yet. But still offered to take our order with a lot of graciousness. I ordered the oolong macadamia latte and the store owner let us try samples as most people are not used to the taste. However, I LOVED IT! Tea on Piedmont is much much better than any of the chain boba restaurants you see around the bay. TP Tea still has my heart especially since its more accessible for me, but Tea on Piedmont is for sure a gem. Be sure to check out the merch and other miscellaneous items they have on sale. The tea shop owner is from Taiwan so a lot of the items are unique and support Taiwanese vendors.

I'm not normally a tea drinker but I had the Hojicha latte and I have become addicted. It's amazing! They also have nice pastries with a French influence as well as a number of fancy teas for sale. My daughter said the strawberry milk with boba is delicious.Central location on Piedmont avenue with Wi-Fi and power if you need to do a little work on your laptop.Highly recommend.

i got three drinks here with my family and tbh it's ok! it's kind of what you would expect trying to get boba in rockridge. there's a really cute dog across the street. nice work space i think? kind of overpriced. - matcha latte uses asha tea's matcha (?) and tastes the exact same! which is a great thing if you like asha tea house ! - oolong macadamia was an interesting sounding thing but you can't really taste the macadamia milk/literally any difference from an oolong mt with whole milk for the higher price that you pay? paying an extra 1.35 for an alternative milk that didn't do anything reminds you that you are indeed in rockridge! #immersive ! the oolong tea itself was solid though lol - jasmine with boba was nice! can't really go wrong with that

I love the hojicha latte with boba here! The quality of the drinks here are always consistent. The milk tea has strong tea flavors and the boba has the perfect chewy texture. Staff here are very friendly and service is fast. There's limited amount of tables and the place is always busy.

I really didn't like my bitter strawberry match latte. The strawberries didn't taste ripe at all and was extremely bitter. My friends tea drink was just okay. I think this place gets all tge hype because the tea is fresh but the drink flavors are definitely off. Last time I had the Oolong Macadamia Nut latte and that was super sweet. So far both my drinks have been not my style of flavor, and I ended up not liking either.

What a gem! This tea house is located in an area where you will want to walk around and spend a perfect Sunday. The place is chill. People here were chatting, catching up with loved ones, and doing some work. The workers here are also very laid-back, no one is bothering you. I ordered their strawberry tea, it was a very interesting blend. A bit of sweet fruit, a bit of bitter jasmine tea. I will want to come back and have a nice afternoon with a friend or two.

Cool, zen vibe, friendly staff, good hot tea. Can't ask for much more. Do wish they had offered me a real teacup instead of assuming I'm getting it to-go. Didn't see the pretty glass cups and pots till I walked up to get my tea. Beautiful wares on their retail shelves.

Incredible boba experience from start to finish. Love how it's not too loud in here and feels rooted in the community. Service is always good and the drinks come out wicked fast. The workers are always eager to answer any questions about their tea (and as a former bobarista myself, I have many). The boba is very consistently chewy with good flavor -- my only complaint is that I can't get a large sized drink but I'll take that any day for this level of tea. Hojicha Latte (5/5): very "roasty" and full tasting. I personally wouldn't change a thing. I would only pick something else if I wasn't feeling a heavy drink that day. Oolong Macadamia Latte (5/5): great balance between the darker nature of oolong and the lighter sweetness of macadamia nuts. Definitely would recommend going 75% or full sweet on this one as I've tried 50% sweet in the past and maybe it threw me off a bit.

Love this tea spot! Super quick and friendly staff, interior is super clean. Absolutely delicious hojicha latte -- boba is always consistent. Noise level is pleasant for a cafe, free wifi, clean bathroom. Great study spot or catch up w/ friends spot.
