“There was a small wait to get in but it was worth it. The food was great, the coffee was awesome and everyone was friendly. Definitely glad we stopped in and would come back if we're ever in the area again. Very much you're all-American-classic-diner.“
“I love it here! The food is fabulous. As you can see from my photos, I have been here more than a few occasions to eat chicken and waffles in different ways! Breakfast, snack and dinner versions! I also love the white flights, the karaoke was a hit! And outstanding service by Kyle and Ryan! I feel like this is a little home away from home“
“iScream for ice cream! As a child, it was always special when my family would take me here for a sweet treat. Fast forward, now that I'm dairy-free, I haven't been to iScream since I was a teen but I'm so glad that I've come back with my childhood best friend! My best friend and I came on a weekday afternoon. It was the perfect sunny day for dessert. The ice cream parlor is on the smaller end with a couple of tables, but it mainly operates as take-out. Plenty of happy families and customers come in, and service has always been inviting and kind. Operating as an artisan ice cream shop, you can taste the quality of their ingredients, plus free samples. They offer traditional and specialty flavors as well as different sizes and cups and cones. Their Burnt Caramel was my go-to as a child but this go around I had baby scoop of the Pink Grapefruit Sorbet. The Pink Grapefruit Sorbet was sweet and the grapefruit flavor came at the end, though it melted quite fast. My only wish is that they offer more vegan flavors! My friend enjoyed the Marzipan. iScream is a special place ice cream lovers gravitate towards on Solano Ave. Find street parking in the area. There's always a group of happy customers coming in and out! I'm looking forward to coming back again soon.“
“The waffles are good! It’s not super sweet, the taste is just right. The waffles are crispy and you can customize your waffles as well! *They don’t have indoor seating*Better order through the app (Snackpass) beforehand so you don’t need to wait so long“

“Quick "treat your self" stop after a 2 hour hike. Ordered at the outside window and service was super helpful and patient as it was our first visit looking at the menu. The Cookie Monster and Minty Cookie Twisties were amazing as was the Chocolate Milkshake. Gotta come back for the food! Looks like good amount of indoor and partially outdoor dining available too.“
“I actually get in my car to drive out here. It’s a lovely spot to sit in the sunshine and their coffee is great! I haven’t had their food, but I was surprised to see that they have a menu for dogs at San Francisco prices which I thought was quite funny. Cappuccino was fantastic and the ambient music playing in the background gives a nice urban vibe.“
“"Screamin' Hot Chicken n' Waffles" is a legit spicy hot fried chicken place! It's operating as a ghost kitchen from the Adeline Food Hall in North Oakland. This cloud kitchen facility is delivery & pickup only. So don't go there looking for a "sit down" restaurant. On a Tuesday evening, I ordered (via DoorDash) the "Screamin' Special." This menu item has three leg quarters and one side dish. I selected the "Spicy Hot" heat level. My side dish was collard greens. This food is not overly salty, you can taste the flavors. The collard greens were savory and delicious. Also note, the collard greens do include bits of meat. The negative thing about this meal was some of the chicken leg quarters were overcooked and dry. They were soaked in the spicy hot sauce, but the chicken wasn't juicy. But overall, I enjoyed the chicken and collard greens. Next time, I plan to try the waffles.“
