Came to pismo to eat at splash cafe, their food is has gone downhill but where they came up short, Slappy’s delivered. The chowder was great and the shrimp and fries were both delicious. I’m driving from Sacramento in a week just to eat there again.
We decided to try something other than our usual and I'm so glad we did! We stopped for dinner and ordered the clam chowder which was way better than splash. We ordered onion rings, fish tacos, chicken strips and fish and chips. It was all very good. The onion rings and fish were crispy like they should be. The fish tacos were fresh and tasty and the chicken was cooked perfectly. We loved everything! The portion size was good the atmosphere was nice and the service was great also.

While I am unable to truly post a review on the “atmosphere” due to it pouring rain and I was the only customer there, the umbrellas (clearly meant to provide shade from the sun) were a welcome cover to the sudden downpour and so was the tri tip sandwich.
