“Honestly I wish I could gatekeep this place but I want this place to succeed. There’s a waiter named Tony who’s above and beyond awesome and amazing, we are always happy when he’s our waiter. The other staff are just as nice and attentive, but we’re biased for Tony. The meat quality is great, my personal favorite is the short rib. The side dishes are great, they’re the best on some days and ok on others - it depends on when the batch is made. Sonu BBQ has become my favorite KBBQ place in the southern CA region. “Very good food! My wife and I both thought it was delicious! The menu has lots of options, so we will definitely be coming back. She got the brisket burnt ends platter and I had the tri tip sandwich and then we had wings to share. Portions were big and we had leftovers. It’s definitely a good choice if you’re looking to have a feast with a variety of food!“

My boyfriend came here a little close to closing time, and they were more than happy to have us stay later than their closing time. “Food was delicious. We started with the queso and chips - so good. Had the 3 meat platter that included sides. Brisket was moist and tender, turkey had a good Smokey flavor, and the pulled pork was good. We also had the 1/2 rack of ribs which were our favorite. The sides were Mac n cheese-super creamy and cheesy, roasted veggies-yum, potato salad-yum and the beans-yum. 10/10 in my opinion.“
