My husband and I really love this place! I am from NYC and he is from Michigan and we are so picky about our pizza. We have tried many places here in Oceanside and we must admit that we found the best pizza and garlic knots right here at Legato. A fire destroyed the place back in early March but we can only hope to see Legato back in business soon because we miss good quality pizza!

First time at Legato Pizza and NY style pizza was very tasty with very fresh crust. Reason for 4 out of 5 stars was that the restaurant was too bright, felt a little bit like a doctor's office. They need to create a pizzaria feel an tone down the lights. Also need more beverage options, what pizza joint doesn't have root beer. Great food and great family.

I ordered ordered a pizza and lasagna, the picture is pretty self explanatory for the lasagna, it looks like some ate out of one side and the other half is a watery mess. What is worse, the pizza was even more disgusting! It was completely flavorless, Cardboard might taste better and even with sauce, cheese, and toppings it had really no flavor. Pizza Hut is a giant step up from this place and that says a lot, don't waste your money on this disgusting place, I promise you will regret it.

The pizza is sooo good! I ordered a calzone and they're pretty big. The calzone came with 2 sides of warm marinara sauce. Which was also delicious. The place is very clean. Definitively coming back for more.

Great service, the girl working the counter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the pesto chicken pizza and added bacon. It was cooked perfectly and the ingredients were fresh. They don't skimp on the toppings and cheese either like some places. The crust was cooked just right and had a nice little crisp to it. My son had the chicken tenders, which I had to test and we both approved!

Definition of hole in the wall. Got the half chicken parm and wow I didn't expect it to be so good. The sauce perfectly complements the chicken with just the right amount of cheese to not take away from the chicken itself. One of best chicken parm sandwiches I've had. Need to go back to try their pizza
This is wonderful Italian food well cooked and presented. The atmosphere is fast food but the price was half of other area restaurants and the waiter was very personable.
