We've visited PCS multiple times in the past month alone because we appreciate the quality service (including table service), excellent happy hour, and some pretty great cocktails. In an era of counter service only and automated menus, PCS is a great throwback spot for beer, whiskey, food, and service. The building has an indoor/outdoor concept, with a big outside patio wrapping around from the main entrance to the Pacific Coast Highway. Multiple indoor seating options with a view into the distillery. Excellent whiskey.

The Crispy Brussels are good. Not sure how we spent $56 + tip on 1 beer, 1 cocktail and 1 order of Brussels.

Stopped by here on a Saturday mid-afternoon (2:30-3:30) to check the place out. Wasn't very busy, perhaps around 30% of capacity at most. Was on my motorcycle so didn't drink that much, just sampled a bit of their bourbon.Ordered a half pound of brisket. Pretty tasty and moist. I've been to some places where the brisket was dry and that is not how brisket should be. This was pretty solid.Really liked the decor and atmosphere on the inside. Well-chosen music playing at a reasonable volume. Went outside for a bit but because it's along the main thoroughfare it was a little noisy from the traffic. So when going back again with friends, I'll recommend sitting inside. Definitely will not hesitate to come back here again.

Tasted their food at “taste of San Diego” and was impressed. Took friends to the restaurant as a result and the service was horrible, and it wasn’t that busy (midweek). Food was marginal and not at all what we tasted at the event. Maybe when the owner is present it would get better?

I was very excited to make reservations for my birthday brunch here. This was my first time, but sadly was very disappointed. My girlfriends and I came for the bottomless mimosas, I only had 2 mimosas. Our server Megan was the sweetest, there was 8 of us. So I do understand if it was a lot, but it took 20 mins for us just to wait for another mimosa. Again, not Megans fault. We noticed there was only one bartender, but doesn't take much to make mimosas. As a brunch gal the service for bottomless was unacceptable. I was already disappointed. I had high hopes for the food, but my chicken sandwich was kinda burnt looking & not much meat in that piece of chicken, the garlic parmesan were at least good. All my other friends complained about their food as well. Atmosphere was beautiful though, just wish I had a better experience.

Had dinner here with a group and the service was painfully slow. Food was good but the night dragged on and I was afraid we’d spend the rest of our lives there.

Excellent food! Great ambience. Service is a little slow but they look genuinely understaffed. Will definitely be back as the quality of the cocktails and food was superb!

Other than the rabid barking chihuahua sitting next to us running its trap we loved this place. Drinks kicked ass. Food specifically the Brie appetizer and Cubano sandwich. The food was amazing. Service was off the charts. And once we moved to the bar the ambiance was nice. Singer was there for the night and not so loud that would drown out conversations. The rabid frothing at the mouth patron on the other hand could still be heard across the restaurant.

Cuban sandwich was decent. Brussels were also decent but too plentiful. Enjoyed my sound garden drink and the guy had a beer.

The food is gourmet quality, and the menu options are very favorable to most peoples liking. All the food is noticably fresh and never frozen. Big kudos to the head bartender/mixologist. The cocktails are very well proportioned and spirit forward, which makes sense because all their base spirits are made in-house. The atmosphere is very relaxing and modern with a large game of connect four which is a great change from most games at restaurants. I highly recommend checking this place out, you won't be disappointed!

PCS hosted our non-profit org's annual holiday party / fundraiser and knocked it out of the park. Their space is great for a large group (we had 50 attendees), is attractive, with an indoor-outdoor So-Cal vibe, and provides different seating options. The Events Coordinator and General Manager are great; the entire staff was attentive, friendly and on-top of-it. Chicken sliders were my favorite menu item - really tasty party sandwich. The cocktails are delicious and thoughtful - especially love the Sandollar. I'd highly recommend Pacific Coast Spirits if you're planning a larger gathering; it was a low-stress, smooth-sailing experience. Looking forward to working with them again in the future!! Cheers!
