“Since I don't ski, I wanted to find a nice cafe where I could enjoy a cup of coffee and read a book while waiting for my skiing family members to come off the slopes. A local guide suggested that I try the Coffeebar Cafe which is at the very end of the Olympic Valley mall area. He said that the coffee was better than Starbucks. I went and he was right. The cappuccino was perfect. (I think the Starbucks coffee is a dark dark roast whereas Coffeebar is a medium dark roast) There are lots of tables and chairs on the outdoor patio as well as some comfortable tables inside the cafe. It was not a noisy gathering place. I read my book! Folks were masked. The menu includes soups, salads, and paninis. The patio faces the ski slopes so I think this is where we will all meet next time for lunch.“
