“I love this place! The girl in the front is very friendly and nice and the food is great! It's like getting Benihana at a fraction of the price and in half the time. I come here regularly for lunch and it's usually not too crowded. Just wish they had more Sauces like ginger and mustard“
“We hadn't been here in a long time, but a birthday reward enticed us in!! We had a wonderful evening! The whole concept of being seated with people you don't know may give a person pause to consider not going here, but honestly, that is one of the things that makes this restaurant a great, unique experience. The waitstaff & chef were personable and the meal was outstanding. This restaurant scores high on the 3 big ingredients to a great dining experience: Great food, exceptional staff, and classy atmosphere. I am so glad to get re-acquainted with this quality establishment.“
“This place is decent; considering the price and portion size, it's quite affordable. It falls into the category of satisfying and hearty rather than refined Japanese cuisine. The thick slices of sashimi are a highlight, with 15 pieces plus a small roll, priced at $35. The salmon and mackerel (the whitest one) are particularly delicious, especially the tender and fatty salmon. Unfortunately, the yellowtail and yellowtail are a bit disappointing in texture. I ended up not finishing those two, but the tuna exceeded my expectations, so I polished it off.The salad is okay, and the miso soup has a mild flavor. As for the iced water, it has a strong mineral taste, and even adding lemon slices doesn't quite mask it. Odd, isn't it?Oh, and the accompanying rice is regular white rice, not vinegar-seasoned rice. The grains are well-cooked and distinct, making it a tasty bowl of rice. ?Considering the price, I'd give it **four stars**! ⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Let me tell you about the culinary adventure of a lifetime I embarked on at Devil's Kitchen & Teppen in Ontario, CA! Picture me, winding down from a day's work in Ontario Ranch, my stomach practically talking to me, dreading the thought of a long trek home just for a meal. Then, like a gust of delicious fate, a customer threw me a lifeline with a recommendation to try this spot. Now, I've been down this road before, where the hype overshadows the reality, but, folks, this was the real deal. From the moment I stepped in, I was caught in this intriguing limbo—not quite the fast-food atmosphere yet echoing its convenience. The welcome we received was nothing short of heartwarming. We were swiftly seated and handed menus that felt like mini treasure maps—bulky, sure, but adorned with visuals and descriptions that promised culinary delights. Then came the showstopper—the food. It landed on our table, sizzling with promise and seasoned like a dream. It was a symphony of flavors that left me utterly speechless. We also dived into a tea concoction with lychee jelly that was the perfect encore to an already stellar performance. The service? Top-notch. Our waiter was a master of his craft, delivering efficiency and charm with ease. The entire crew radiated kindness, and the setting was a serene backdrop to an exquisite dining experience. But wait, there's more—the portions. In an era where I'm counting my bites, what I received was a generous bounty that filled me up in all the right ways. So, if your travels take you near Ontario, California, and your stomach starts to sing, direct your steps to Devil's Kitchen & Teppen. It's more than a meal; it's a heart-stealing, taste bud-energizing journey. This spot has not only won my stomach but also a top spot in my list of culinary favorites!“
“Great experience our waitress Natalie was very nice & proficient! The cook was awesome, very thorough in making sure food was good and not just putting on a show! Had the 2 Lobster tails which were delicious and priced right, I’ve been to the Corona Shogun which is fairly crowded and service lacked but this location was awesome, I’ll be back!“
“It's comfy and cozy. Food was good and the service was great. I just felt like there wasn't much difference between the taste of the beef and scallops. Don't get me wrong, I will go back. I most likely will order the mix tempura, steamed rice and veggies. I might give the filet mignon a second chance.“
“Chef gave us the homie hook-up! We recieved super generous portions. Ordered the steak/shrimp/chicken. The meat was seasoned perfectly. Chef was pretty low key for teppanyaki joint. What he lacked in theatrical flair he made up for in culinary skill. We will be back.“
“I absolutely love this place. I've gone here for many birthdays and special occasions. The service is always exceptional. There's smiling faces everywhere you look. There's workers who have stayed there for years who I've gotten to know. The food itself is delicious. My main complaint with places like Shogun or Benihana is that their food tastes really salty, but not Wabi Sabi. Their food tastes super fresh and authentic. You get a lot of bang for your buck seeing as their portions are very large.“
“We found out about this place because my husband works a few blocks away from it and ever since we tried their food we haven't had sushi anywhere else. The food is very affordable, delicious and fresh. The customer service is exceptional! Definitely worth a visit!“
