It is no longer Chef Tacos. It is now Birrieria Guadalajara. Beef birria. You have to try it!

Good food, reasonable prices and the best carne asada tortas in my opinion.?

My favorite place to get (carne asada) tacos. Always fresh and flavorful. They come with sliced carrots which I thought was odd...until I tried it. They give the hot tacos a crunchy coolness that I find addicting. I like the people that work there too.

I got the shredded beef taco salad and it was very good! The hot sauce that comes with it was actually hot, but flavorful. The meat was very tender and lean. I recommend it! Good prices.

The food is great and the staff is terrific.

The food is a lot better now. I came by when they first opened and bought a little of everything. But the food back then was not good or fresh. The food is good now, and fresher.

Really good carne asada and hot salsa.

Delicious. Can't wait to go back to try more of the menu! Driven past it a million times and finally decided to give them a try. Did not disappoint one bit!

We love this place! My boyfriend wonders why this place isn't more popular. The ingredients and high quality yet the prices are very reasonable. We love their barbacoa! It is super tasty and this is the only Mexican place we've been to that serves it! They also have a good attention to detail. If you haven't tried this place you should definitely try it!

I thought I'd give this place a try. I ordered super nachos and went through the drive-through due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The drive-through speaker was not working properly and I was unable to hear anything. I also waited in the drive-through for over 20 minutes just to get super nachos. But then I thought maybe it's worth the wait. Once I tried my nachos it was a very big disappointment, something in the nachos tasted like it was freezer burn/refrigerator taste. I don't know if that makes sense but you can tell something in the ingredients was old. Overall was just a big disappointment and I wasted my time.

Ordered a carne asada burrito. Asked for no onion or salsa. Onion and salsa were of course on the burrito. And the burrito was not good at all. I took a few bites and threw it away. Won't ever come here again.

My faaaavorite Mexican place! I'm a big nacho gal, and their Carne Asada Super Nachos are definitely the best I've ever had. I will never go there and not get the nachos. Their street tacos are also delicious! It's just the basics: cilantro, onion, choice of meat. But oh, so yummy. The people who work the place are super friendly (I think it's the owners), and they've learned know order because of how often we go their. I recommend this place any chance I get. Bonus that they have a drive thru!! Love El Chef!!

I came here on Saturday (during Covid19 shut down) and ordered six shredded beef tacos through the drive through. It took about 15 minutes until I got to the window (two cars ahead of me, one behind me and a car waiting on the side for her order). The process is easy through the drive thru (they accept Visa/MC/Amex/Discover and cash). The tacos are on the smaller size - I would say 3 isn't enough for a hungry appetite. There are two salsas (red and green). I didn't try the green one, red was flavorful and spicy. Good kick to a rather average taco. $16 total for six tacos. Glad to support a small business but I won't be returning. I think the tacos were average in taste.
