“I had to revisit Wetzels today (2/8/24) on my lunch break because I was given very dry pretzels when I went yesterday and felt as if they had been in there for an hour. Thankfully, I was greeted by a nice cashier, and when I told her my concerns, she told me it wouldn't be a problem to give her a moment to inform her other coworker (the lady making pretzels) to make sure they were on the same page on what's going on. Then, the lady making pretzels approached me, telling me how sorry she was for the inconvenience. Give her a few minutes. She had a batch of pizza pretzels that were almost ready, and I agreed and said thank you so much. I didn't mind waiting a few extra minutes for a fresh pretzel. I would love for these two ladies to be recognized for their excellent customer service. 10/10 would visit again.“
“Had the Drunken Fries with Rattlesnake and Rabbit Sausage and it was absolutely delicious ? definitely recommend coming here for a beer and food in DTSA. Or if you are walking from another bar and need something to soak up your drinks, this is a place to do it with good eats. Service was a touch slow, but it could've been due to low staff or it being busy for trivia night. And they do cook the food fresh upon order (they had a sign at the register) so it is piping hot (which my food was ??). I cannot argue with any of that“
“I was never really a huge fan of pretzels, but wanted to try this spin-off place. You can order at a kiosk or up front. - Pizza Bomb Twistz: This wasn't bad, but could've used more pepperoni. It's definitely very cheesy. - Baja Elote Loaded Bitz: The portions for this were much bigger than I had thought. I liked this more than the Pizza Bomb Twistz even though I'm a meat lover and there's no meat on here. I wouldn't mind trying other things on the menu here next time, but definitely gotta watch out since they are super calorie dense!“
“I came last weekend with my boyfriend and we got the sweet potato cheese pretzel and an iced Einspänner coffee. The potato pretzel was unexpectedly great, and Coffee Tomo is one of the few places I've been able to find Einspänner in OC. Will be returning for these two items very soon.“
“When my son sees a Wetzel's Pretzels he can't pass by it without asking me to get some. And of course I end up eating one or two pieces. It's our favorite out of all pretzel places. Always fresh and delicious. This location is clean and has friendly staff. We have been here a few times and always had a pleasant experience. Lots of outdoor sitting by the water fountain.“
“Now, the pretzels and food here is really good, no denying that. However, I came here for a cinnamon roll, and it was cold and you can tell it wasn't fresh. I'm pretty sure this place is more focused on their pretzels rather than the Cinnabon, and I'm all for not wasting food (meaning I don't think the batches should get thrown away frequently). I'm just suggesting to keep them in a better warmer or even warm them up right before serving if they've been left out for a while. No complaints on the flavor though. I went home to microwave it, and it was so good!“
