“Fun pocha in OC! Haus is our go to spot for a night out. The wait time can be hit or miss. They have a lot of tables so its usually not too bad. Service is always great and food is decent. They have a lot of cute decorations and even a photo booth with props. The servers are super nice and and they even have a label maker to make personalized soju bottles (not sure if they still have this)!They give a little boat of popcorn as a snack when you sit down. Our favorites to order are the watermelon and friend squid legs. The watermelon is super refreshing and balances out the greasiness of the squid. Great choice for a night out!“

Considering that you can’t get out of a fast food joint these days for under $50 it seems, it’s a no brainer to us. It also is a good motivation to get out for a date night once a month! Don’t get me wrong, we weren’t sure about the idea of a membership based restaurant but once we gave it a try as guests of other members we were blown away by the experience.So now that we’ve covered the membership aspect, let’s talk food and drinks. We usually start at the bar with cocktails and great conversation with the bartenders who are true mixologists. Most of the time when you tell a bartender, “Surprise me!”, they are less than thrilled and you end up with something less than desirable. Not here. For these guys that phrase is a fun challenge and they will deep dive into your various drink likes and dislikes to custom craft a cocktail that will satisfy!Dinner service is always amazing. You have top tier service from the entire staff who will guide you through selecting an array of dishes. Food is shareable sizes and there’s always something new and exciting. “My group and I hit up Bacchus' speakeasy, Cozy Pine, recently, and let me tell ya, cozy is right! This spot is small, like really small. If you or someone nearby is a bit on the big side, expect some bumping around. But we dug the whole outdoorsy vibe they had going on. Now let's talk about the snacks! Fried goat cheese balls? Check. Blue crab dip? Double check. Deviled eggs? Oh yeah. The only letdown was the shishito peppers - a bit on the oily side. “Great atmosphere at this izakaya. The food was great and delicious, beef udon bowl is a personal favorite because it is simple and easy on the stomach. The yakitori skewers were delicious and a perfect compliment to the udon. The meatball and chicken leg skewers in particular.“

“I had an appointment in the area and stumbled into this place by accident for lunch. It was a Wednesday, so I took advantage of their Wine Wednesday half off bottles of wine. Ordered a simple margherita pizza, that was not simple at all. It was brilliant. Chatted with the owner who was super friendly. My server was pretty busy serving a large party of blue hairs, but did a nice job checking up on me and keeping my glass full. Think his name was Lucas. Really pleasant chap. I left without taking my credit card, and the dude ran out into the parking lot to give it back to me as I was driving off. Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience. Will try and stop in more regularly. “A bona fide hole in the wall restaurant. It is pretty hard to come across but the inside is so cute. I went on a weekend and it was empty, so the service was pretty fast, though the service hours are a little short. I had the tonkotsu ramen and was impressed with the serving size. This is the first place I've had ramen that doesn't give you a single paper thin slice of pork belly for protein. It tasted pretty good and they were generous with toppings. My girlfriend had the sashimi rice bowl and she said it was pretty tasty as well. Definitely a great find for the prices they offer.“

The atmosphere caters to both classy and casual, the food exudes refinement and familiarity with strong Filipino, Italian and French influences. Service can be a bit touch and go, depending on how busy the restaurant is. Reservations are suggested as the indoor capacity is small. The terrace outside is modern and welcoming but can be rented out for events, so keep that in mind if you have your heart set on dining outdoors. The portions are nice, and the prefix menu is surprisingly generous. The bone marrow pizza is not to be missed.“

“The tacos at Chronic Tacos are quite substantial, roughly the size of a small burrito. Considering their generous size, the Taco Tuesday price is quite reasonable. Typically, I would consume three tacos at other places, but at Chronic Tacos, one and a half tacos suffice. An added bonus is that the carne asada taco comes with guacamole topping, which is a definite highlight.However, one drawback is that I find the food to be overly salty. Both the meats and the rice tend to be on the salty side. Nevertheless, Chronic Tacos may still be among the best taco options in Irvine, although superior tacos can be found outside of the city limits.“
“Sabrosada has multiple locations across the Orange County area, and this location is near Mile Square Park next to Sam's Club. It has a small parking lot, some indoor seating, and a drive through if you don't want to get out of your car. AL PASTOR TACO ($2.45) - they have a smaller size with just onions and cilantro and a larger size with guacamole (that's also twice the cost). I got the smaller size but the taco was still loaded with meat. Even better, the al pastor was flavorful and tender. These tacos were solid! 5/5 SUPER BURRITO ($14.49) - even though I got this without beans, for a super burrito the size was not so super. It was not big and it was just okay. It wasn't the best I've had and I liked the other things I got here more. 3/5 CARNE ASADA FRIES ($14.99) - they have a full size and a half size although the full size is only ~$1 more. The carne asada was a little dry but the fries had a lot of fresh ingredients like pico and onions to help with the heaviness. This also had beans in it which I didn't care for and would get it without next time. 4/5 Their red and green sauces were both pretty good. The al pastor was way way better than the carne asada and I would try to get everything I could with the al pastor even if I had to pay extra for it.“

Staff were friendly and attentive, and the wine list was decent with an option to please everyone. The food menu had some of the best variety of tapas I'd seen in a while. It was hard to only order five things! You will spend a bit but it's worth every penny to try so many wonderful dishes. I don't eat gluten and I had no trouble finding safe options.“
