Clos Saron

Absolutely fantastic visit!! Gideon is nothing short of amazing, and the wines that he and his wife have crafted are true works of art. My husband and I went visited Clos Saron on a whim. We called to see if they were open and the wine maker Gideon said we could stop by in fifteen minutes. Gideon was wonderful. His ideals about making wine and living on the land were amazing. I wish more people thought this way! We spent a few hours just walking around his property, talking about wine, and then tasted. I had a chance on a tour to stop in and meet Gideon, see his winery, drink a little wine and listen to the man talk about his wine. Gideon works around the year tending his vines, harvesting the grapes, making the wine and then carefully aging it. Each release sells out quickly so get on his website and sign up for emails.
