“My family loves going into Shake Tea as often as we can. The atmosphere for this Boba Shop is sleek, clean and minimalistic, but their drinks are a whole vibe. Every time we go we are always greeted with friendly faces and amazing service. They always have gone above and beyond with their products as well as making sure we enjoy them. I highly recommend Shake Tea as a must-visit when you are in Historic Downtown Oroville.Kid-friendliness: There are a few places to sit but usually we grab our drinks and walk around downtown for a fun afternoon out and about.”

“I always drove by cause I never had the time to stop until today, I was welcomed at the door. I was treated like a friend that always stopped in everyday. “Boss Burger in Oroville is very good. The food is a little salty, but very good. If I could say one negative thing, it would be the parking. and the front door is not wheelchair assessable I'm a person with the wheelchair along with my wife. and we have to order everything to go because we cannot fit our wheelchair inside the front entrance there needs to be another door for the exit There's not a whole lot of room in there. It feels crowded. It's definitely not accessible to wheelchairs.”

“Stayed at the lodge 4/1/24, ordered the Burnt Ends w/half order of Cesar Salad. The Ends were amazingly tender, however just a little too covered in the sauce. Bet the flavor of the meat must be really good for how tender they were, so now I know how to order them differently (sauce on the side. Same for salad (just a bit less dressing). Overall, Service to pickup an order to take back to my room was on point!”

“I've eaten here quite a few times now. I will say, my experiences have gotten better each time. Our first few experiences left me unsure about ever wanting to return due to the way items were cooked. But in the last year I've been a few times and the flavors have been spot on and the meats were appropriately cooked and delicious. New cooks or new menu, I'm not sure, but the food is excellent. Additionally I tried a season cocktail the last time I went and it was so delicious. The service is always pleasant. Servers are always friendly and helpful. Sometimes it's a little slow because management didn't staff appropriately and one waitress is handling the entire full patio but even still, I've watched the waitress bust their bottom to provide excellent service. The inside has a bar and high top tables. The outside patio is just my favorite. It's tucked in the back but open air and unique. I love sitting out there and just enjoying the fresh air during our warmer months. Additionally, the patio is dog friendly. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed.”

“First time there. The ladies are super nice, placed an order over the phone. I ordered 2 regular corn and 1 with hot Cheetos, sooo good! Someone ordered super fries, he said some of the fries were undercooked but toppings were delicious and they were generous with the cheese. Someone else ordered 3 tacos, carne asada, birria and al pastor and said the flavor of the meat was delicious but the tortillas were a little tough, maybe undercooked or cold. My friend got the mangonada and loved it!! Will definitely hit this place up again.”

We are a picky household and do a few changes to each of our orders and it's always correct. “I went here with my Papsi a Vietnam vet. We are on a tight budget so we barley get out of the house but decided to splurge since it was Veterans Day and I felt like he deserved it. Our experience was phenomenal until my papsi got food poisoning from the taco truck located out front. In a mad he left me at the bar when he want to the restroom and that is where the positive experience stopped and the real life nightmare started. My papsi was forced to use a toilet without a stall after losing the use of two limbs during service. He was walked in on and laughed by a drunk vagrant. I was forced to intervene to save a family member who seemingly lost all dignity by having to relative himself in a stall less public restroom. I would suggest the Cadillac margarita”

You get a free food item after ten purchases just don't tell them your using the freebie until after they make it aka if your using the freebie call it in so it's made prior to you getting there. If you walk in then they want the money up front and well you will be using the freebie card and they do not hook up the food at all. I ordered food last night here and when I got my burrito I couldn't even eat the entire thing it was so full. Last time, I used my freebie card and told them this over the phone. Got there and looked like I was getting a Taco Bell burrito to be completely honest. Nice people and great food but to me that's not really I'd say right to the customer but that's just my opinion. Burrito cost me like 15 bucks. So 15 times 10, that's $150.00 bucks so idk you be the judge on if the freebie should be equal to as if you were paying cash. I personally believe it should but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.”

“I'm kind of in love with this place. I'm sadly not in Oroville frequently enough to try all the offerings they have here. I wish they had a Fosters in Chico. I usually get some fries: salty (salt always sprinkled evenly), hot and the right amount of crispiness, and a soft serve of chocolate and vanilla. This is how I reward myself when I'm here. :) I've even tried one of their hamburgers. They remind me of an old-fashioned type of hamburger. Not too fancy, a basic burger, but nevertheless very tasty and economically priced. I've never actually been inside - normally we pass through the drive-thru, however it looks the atmosphere inside looks inviting. And the service each and every time I've visited has been quick. I didn't have to wait too long before getting what I had ordered. If you're in Oroville and crave some fantastic ice cream, fries, or a tasty burger, don't forget to stop by here!”

We first wanted to go Dutch bros and Starbucks but it was wayyyy to packed! So we decided to come try this place out and OMG IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER!!! 100000/10!!They have so many drinks to choose from: coffees, energy drinks, smoothies etc.. they even serve some tasty looking foods. All our drinks were delicious! We've never had drinks like this, if we lived closer this would be our go to spot. We even joked about driving a hour out here just to grab their drinks because they are THAT GOOD. The guy who helped us was so sweet & friendly! 10/10 on customer service!!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!”

“First time trying the spot, it's located a bit far from downtown almost on the exact opposite side near tabletop rd near all the new builds, but the food was worth the trek. We ordered two Kapoon( chicken curry noodle) and one kapiet (chicken noodle soup with starchy noodle). The kapiet was very good and similar to other kapiet you'll find. It's a comforting bowl of chicken noodle soup and a sure way for bowl of happiness if you're ever craving for soothing noodle soup. 5 out 5 The kapoon was ok, it's different and had a lot of bamboo, I would come back for this. 4 out 5 Last but not least the the pork egg roll, since it sat in the container from the car ride home, the wrapping was no longer crispy. But the filling was delicious and has a good combo of pork, clear noodle and veggies. 4 out 5 Overall the food is delicious and glad to have tried it. Would come back to try other dishes.”

“Shakey's has the best old school tavern style pizza joint. With their heavy tankard beer mugs to their fresh baked pizza and crispy fried mojos, it's truly an enjoyable experience. Oftentimes they have live music on some weeknights which is also a lot of fun! Staff is nice and quick! The garlic chicken, Hawaiian, and supreme pizza are really delicious. Great value and great pizza!”

“My dad and stepmom rave about this place all the time so when me and my boyfriend wanted Chinese food we decided to try this place out and oh my god it was amazing. For 35$ we got more than enough to feed both of us and in this economy for Chinese food that’s cheep. The lady was amazing we wanted beef chow mein but they were out of beef so we got the shrimp and she gave us lots of shrimp since they didn’t have what we originally wanted. It took like 15 minutes for them to cook all the food and it was cooked to perfection. Just an overall amazing experience and will 1000 times be coming back!!”

“food was outstanding. id like to spend more money here but the phone number listed is invalid so i cant order for pickup. they dont offer delivery which is by far the biggest loss for this place as they offer food other places dont and would run the local delivery market as the only establishment doing so with sushi especially. our walk in visit was awkward, no real host or hostess, we stood around not knowing if we just seat ourselves, finally someone seated us. we were at a table that was on a weak patch of floor, so everytime a person walked by our food and cocktails were rattling back and forth on our table substantially. none of that matters to me though, because the food was great, the bar and bartender, as well as the selection of top shelf spirits were excellent. one of the choices i tried to order from the lineup off the top shelf though i was told it was the owners unopened special bottle? ok, maybe put it on his/her desk instead of teasing customers who want a glass haha. were holding out for a phone number that works, and for ordering to go or for delivery. they would get our money weekly, and others as well. maybe they can get with union to figure out a website and delivery options through doordash. the menu online is 7 years old, and only a facebook page for any info on the place. it really needs some upselling and marketing help. i hope this place grows and thrives, tons of potential waiting to be ironed out here. i wish i was the manager the place would be hopping all the time. cheers to nori, thank you for the excellent food and spirits.”

“Great location in Oroville! Went april 9..see receipt. This is a great place to relax after a long drive! They have a full bar with specialty cocktails. Indoor and outdoor seating. Its very popular in the warmer months because they are dog friendly with an outdoor enclosed area. Today was taco tuesday..2 tacos for $3.30. They are the size of street tacos but have good flavor. Dont forget to ask for their homemade pico de gallo...its spicy and tasty! I had a nice chardonnay and my boyfriend has a Corona. When you sit up at the bar you can enjoy complimentary peanuts. They will also offer you small cups of their chili which is full of meat and goodness! They also have a drive thru as well. The owner, Mike, is very friendly and has owned and operated this business for approximately 43 years. You can tell he takes pride in everything that comes out of the kitchen! ALWAYS a great experience!”

But in January 2024, I went into Burger King and I was faced with two computer screens that I was required to use in order to make my order! the computer program was impossible, so finally after a lot of time trying to figure it out, I gave up and I had to go get the cashier to help me make my order! so now, there's no human at the front to take your order and I really do not like this at all! so before you get to eat your hamburger you get to get real frustrated by all of this baloney. everybody that came in had the same problem and were also frustrated.. “We're not much for sports bars but the menu had a few things of interest and it was early before the crowds came in so it was relatively quiet and relaxing. It was taco Tuesday so we had brisket tacos, and fish tacos and they were good. It has a self serv draft beer bar, it works on a smart card and there was 20 or so offerings, some I new, a lot I didn't so I had a flight of 4 samplings, the best being sugared maple bourbon something. Definitely had a hard liquor after twang ?”

I arrived at the drive thru. I was greeted by a friendly voice asking me " how are you today?" I pulled around for my order and a very nice young lady greeted me went over my order and as a surprise shock to me asked if I wanted lids, straws, and drink carrier etc etc. she told me that it would be a moment for one last of my items to finish up. I usually get some fries: salty (salt always sprinkled evenly), hot and the right amount of crispiness, and a soft serve of chocolate and vanilla. This is how I reward myself when I'm here. :) I've even tried one of their hamburgers. They remind me of an old-fashioned type of hamburger. Not too fancy, a basic burger, but nevertheless very tasty and economically priced. I've never actually been inside - normally we pass through the drive-thru, however it looks the atmosphere inside looks inviting. And the service each and every time I've visited has been quick. The food was hot and fresh. I finally Finished past in everybody, there's stuff. By the way, we have the $6 Burger bags and one chicken bag. Which included Bacon Burger nugget French fries And a drink. One with a chicken sandwich. 4 salads 2 apple, 1 cob and 1 taco salad look at this! Now thar is what I call great way to serve a fresh salad. Mmm so good. Next (sorry about the pic but the spicy nuggets are so fresh. It was hard to save 1 for the picture. For my favorite. Item. Wendy's owned the honey mustard!Try it sorry Panda Express. I have ordered from Panda Expressjust to get to their honey mustard. Mom but, Wendy's nailed it! And it I'dms so creamy and plenty in that little cup. The prices seem to be more fair in a time when everybody else is edging theirs up. Wendy's is giving fun back to ordering a variety affordable. “I love the hamburgers here that's my favorite place to get hamburgers in Oroville! But in January 2024, I went into Burger King and I was faced with two computer screens that I was required to use in order to make my order! the computer program was impossible, so finally after a lot of time trying to figure it out, I gave up and I had to go get the cashier to help me make my order! so now, there's no human at the front to take your order and I really do not like this at all! so before you get to eat your hamburger you get to get real frustrated by all of this baloney. everybody that came in had the same problem and were also frustrated.. I'm not sure if I'm going to go back to Burger King now because of this! I want to talk to a real human I can talk to when I go in to put my order in! I suggest Burger King hurry up and trash those two computers before they lose all their business!”
