I needed to feed some guests for a Christmas Eve brunch and looked up "Tamales Near Me" here on Yelp. I'm so glad LaReyna turned up It's just down the street and around the corner near to where I recently moved. ordered a half dozen tamales of pork, chicken, and cheese/jalapeno.My guests and I all give their tamales a big thumbs up. They literally came right out of the steamer Nd were so good and hot. They come in a generous size with a good ratio of masa to filling.will definitely be back for tamales in the future. Didn't get a chance to try any of their delicious-looking baked good--yet! They also carry snacks (various chips and Mexican candies) and paletas of various flavors. Loved the holiday decorations, especially the Mexican Snoopy near the register. I'll definitely be back Owners are super nice and the place seems like a local favorite as there were quite a few customers who came in after we arrived. This place is pretty much take out as there were no tables and chair.

Went before sunrise when everything should be still warm from the oven but everything looked like it had been sitting out since the day before. Instead of coming out of the oven the racks were coming un-serran wrapped

I found this little gen tucked in a shopping strip in Port Hueneme about six years ago during one of my walks. They have amazing tamales; the absolute best I've had anywhere in Ventura County. After my Grandma & my Mom's tamales, these are my favorite. I have also ordered the mini bolillos (rolls) for events and they were warm and ready right when I had to pick them up. I also buy their sweet bread and rolls and they are great. The prices are reasonable and the owners/employees are all very nice people. I highly recommend this bakery.
