The crab sandwich was the best I've tastest. Coconut shrimp was also delicious. Denise was also a great server and recommended the popular food choices. Will come back

Michael exceeded our expected Service level. She was professional and just the right amount of friendly. My Cioppino was flavorful. My husband's prime rib was delicious. A local favorite.

Food was so disappointing, I do not reccomend this place - and service was terrible. It was extremely overpriced..we were ignored and forgotten several times. I don't think I've ever had such a poor dining experience.

Always wondered about it and it totally lived up to the expectation! Such a special treasure of a restaurant. Will absolutely be back.

We were here recently and the food and service were excellent. We look forward to going back soon. I hope they continue to stay open for many years to come.

I dined at the restaurant with 4 people. The inability to split checks was disappointing. We spent 2 hours there, encountering subpar service. The beer tasted stale, the baked potato was overcooked, and the vegetables were extremely overdone. We ordered salmon and 3 steaks, yet it took 1.5 hours to receive our food. Additionally, we were not provided with straws and napkins initially, which added to the overall inconvenience of our dining experience. The only great thing about the restaurant were the chairs on wheels.

Come for the truly delicious homestyle food and the very friendly service. I can recommend the fried chicken on Sundays and the steaks anytime. I'm also a big fan of the fish and chips.

Just had the crab sandwich for lunch at Vallemar Station. It was excellent, enough to move it to the top of my list for the best crab sandwich in Pacifica. The fries were also perfectly cooked. My sister and I will definitely be back. My next order will be the prime rib.

The food was wonderful. The service was even better. I recommend it for the best clam chowder, clam cakes and a ribeye at a reasonable price.

Just had a last minute dinner at the Valley Mar Station- hadn't been in a while and everything was delicious! Great service, portion sizes were just right. Will be making that a regular destination and hope you will, too!

Delicious, American-style food in this family-owned restaurant on the side of Hwy 1. There's a full bar and the game is playing on the big screen TV -- so the vibes are good! Our friendly waitress checked on us frequently and the food was amazing!! I got a crab sandwich with fries, my husband got half of a fried chicken (!) with mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and a salad. We were celebrating a birthday, so they put a candle in the fantastic bread pudding that we had for dessert. This place is a true gem in Pacifica -- great food, family friendly, reasonably priced, good/friendly service. No complaints at all. We will be back soon!!

Come here for the best crab sandwich anywhere. Huge portions, chunks of crab on grilled sourdough and cheese. They don't ruin it with too much Mayo like most places so you can taste every bite. The sandwich itself is 1.5x times the size of its nearest competition (by the water). The fries and the giant onion rings are not only delicious but they travel well. This is our go to place when we go to Pacifica - we grab the sandwiches, head to the beach to see the waves and surfers, and then finish the afternoon with a coastal hike. For the beef dishes, they serve Harris Ranch beef. Good stuff. The 2 ladies (mother and daughter) are actually super nice and welcoming once you start engaging with them. The business has been around for 28 years and the pandemic really took a toll. The restaurant is now managed by the mother and daughter after the dad passed away last year. Ignore the snooty reviews from the haters about the décor, etc. Come for the good food and support a long time local business!

I would like to think the chef for making this night special. Came here about 10 years ago and it was amazing. Just ate there tonight and it was also amazing. I had the clam chowder bowl!! Let me tell you this place is famous for this clam chowder!! No where tastes this good. Our waitress Michal was just a sweetheart. She came right up to us as we sat down. Food came out fast for a Friday night. And delicious. Had the jumbo coconut shrimp and cheese sticks. The house bread was warm and delicious. The bread pudding was the best dessert ever!! Disclaimer lol it's hot to the touch. Let it sit for a moment. Will definitely come more often. The bar has all the drinks you could drink. I had a long island and it was top shelf. I could definitely kick back a few drinks in this place. There's no place like an old train station with good people inside to enjoy the night with. But don't be fooled. If you treat people with respect you will get it back. You get what you give. But for me. My night here was simply amazing. This is definitely a Pacifica Jewel!!

Had lunch at Vallemar Station during a massive rainstorm. It was warm and inviting when we entered through the bar area. Lots of old pictures of the Pacifica, Devil's slide and Moss Beach area. Dinning room was empty (we were early for dinner and late for lunch). Joyce was awesome and a font of knowledge regarding history of the area. She made our day. The crab sandwich was kicking! Fries perfect. Salad fresh. Too early for the Prime special. We will return for Joyce
