Our pizza was warm. It was mediocre at best. Blaze was recommended by a friend who did say, their pizza was very hit or miss. Looks like we got a miss day. Once is enough. Their specialty is pizza! Hit or miss shouldn’t happen. ?

I like that Blaze pizza has a pick 2 option and it’s not bad food but it was pretty mediocre. We also waited a long time to order and get our food, but it might have just been a one-off situation because it seemed like a baseball team ordering before

I have nothing but love for the build-your-own pizza concept that Blaze, Fired Pie and Pieology among others have brought to the fast-casual dining scene in recent years. Customizable, reasonably priced and a portion size that is manageable in one sitting. This location just needs better upkeep. The counters, floors, tables and soda machine area were all dirty. I can imagine the bathroom was less than sanitary as well. Because of this, we took our pizzas to go and I bought a bottled drink instead of a fountain.

Nice thin crusted pizza. Good ingredients.

The concept was good. We had their "Meat Lovers" pizza. The food was ready quickly. The pizza was good though the crust was a bit thin and didn't hold up well under the weight of toppings. Using the "NJ fold" was the least messy way to eat the pizza. Otherwise, the pizza was good and at a fair price. When we visited, the dining area wasn't too crowded. The tables were in need of a good wipe down. There was no cutlery and no lids for cups. The iced tea didn't taste good.

Hard to tell what the difference would be if we eat inside. We normally have our daughter order our take out since we are not to literate on computer. The pizza is about the same and I think is actually better the day after because it never comes hot from Uber . When I put on toaster oven the next day it gets better but it's not the best or worst pizza i have had. 3.5 is closer to it. We have only tried margaritas and pepperonis only so I give it 3.5 better than Pizza Hut and lot better than dominoes but not as good as some of the speciality pizza I have had in Palo Alto or Toto's which has been a lot better after the chef made some changes crust is not spongy or full of oil.

The staff and food used to be amazing but the bread sizes have gotten smaller and the workers ignore you when you want to ask for extra stuff like red peppers or parmesan packets. Also they only gave me 1 sauce and it wasn't even filled halfway. I should rate this store lower but I like the

I'm only giving it a star because I have to and I have to say it does have good pizza. Other than that, this particular Blaze Pizza in Palm Desert is horrible! I have been going to other Blaze Pizzas for years and they have been great with wonderful customer service. If you are looking for customer service here, look somewhere else. My husband and I ordered a pizza through the app and realized that we would not make it there in time to pick up the pizza at the set time. So I tried calling at least 15 times and they do not answer their phone -- it's only automated, which is absolutely infuriatingly frustrating. So my husband rushed to make it there on time and when he got there on time, the pizza had not even been put into the oven yet. He asked them why nobody answers the phone. And they just looked at him and walked away without saying a word. He was their only customer so it's not like they were busy or anything. So he went and stood outside at the window waiting for the pizza to be finished. He was outside for at least 15 minutes and he went back inside and the pizza was sitting out on the counter and he asked them how long it had been sitting there and they looked at him like he had three heads. He said "couldn't have somebody come and let me know or waved to me to let me know that it was ready?" Again, nobody answered. I'm not sure why they think that Customer Service is not needed, but we will never go back to this place again! Ever! After reading so many other customer reviews that are complaining about the same thing, for a long time, you would think that the owner or management would do something about it but they obviously don't care.
