Stepping foot for the first time to a Cold Stone Creamery was a complete disaster. I've had a giftcard from CSC for a long time and was excited to finally use it after my psyical therapy appointment nearby. I asked the employee what she suggested. Some coffee ice cream mixture that was tastey. I thought I'd order a vanilla shake thinking that would be difficult to mess up. Boy was I wrong. it was so sickingly sweet...tasted like frosting. Came back to see if I could exchange it and was told NO. Because I had left the store briefly. Like 3 minutes. The whole experience was just rotten to the core. Managare contacted me and said she would make me a new shake of my choosing. Under one condition, that I would have to come in on a certain day at a certain time which I was not available. Nice try though....

The server behind the counter was rude. When asked what is the Hot Honey ice cream like she replied, "Hot Honey". She then smerked and us. She made our order and sat it on the counter without saying anything.

If I could give this girl a lower rating I would. Ester's attitude was horrible the whole service. She got my order wrong and even when I said it's fine just let me add topping she just rolled her eyes and said it's extra i said ok twice like i know its more . I get it's not easy to work in customer service but girl almost all of the bad reviews about this store are about you, so it's clearly not just a bad day or crazy customers.

i love cold stone as i get my regular oreo shake a lot usually in the la quinta location. but, after a long rough day at work at a restaurant, my coworker and i decided to stop by this nearby location in palm desert for some ice cream. they close at 10 but we made it there at 9:45. the moment we opened the door, there were two girls working. this was closing shift on thursday night, october 19th. the girl with CLEAR glasses rolled her eyes, and told her coworker OUT LOUD, "it's literally so late" as if we had no right to come in. you guys are still open! right after we had ordered our ice cream, girl in clear glasses covered the ice creams before they'd even close so that people couldn't even order it. girl with black glasses was nice. she looked embarrassed for her other coworker though. it's not that deep i guess, but as someone who works in customer service, it's extreme disappointing to feel as you're a burden for simply ordering two ice creams at an ice cream shop. try a different location :)

Hate to give low reviews but this place is garbage. Super overpriced, the people working seem like they don't enjoy being there, the ice cream it self is not bad but definitely not worth the price. Do yourself a favor and drive down to Handels for a happier, tastier, and cheaper experience!

I love Coldstone on a hot day but this one was the most unfriendly Coldstone ever. If we could ignore that aspect, a good ice cream nonetheless.

Absolutely love Cold stone until I came to this one. Don't get me wrong the ice cream and shakes were fantastic but not the service. My Brother is Dairy free and when he asked if they could make the smoothie Dairy free the two ladies on shift started laughing and snickering at him. This made my brother have my mom order for him as he was now to embarrassed. Completely inappropriate for staff to do this.

ZERO stars for service. Came here on vacation because we love cold stone. The service was seriously atrocious. "$1.49 extra for brownies. $1.49 extra for an extra spoonful of peanut butter." I fully understand extra product cost.... But an extra half a scoop of peanut butter? Really!? AND their textbook favor (cake batter) no where to be found. BOTH of the ice cream makers looked beyond miserable.

Honestly, I hate ever feeling like I have to write a review, it just always seems extra, but this was a bit much. We go in and it seems fine at first, but then the employees start being seemingly very pushy when we're the only ones in the store, then when we finally do order, my wife gets half a scrap of pineapple and when I try the raspberries in my ice cream, they're soured and disgusting. Like... How does someone let that happen and not question what they scoop? Just overall left a bad taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively
