Usually love it here. Best food ever. Drove over 2 hours to get here from San Diego.....were spending the night in Palm Springs. We get there 10 minutes before closing time. They won't seat us (no big deal and we get it). They still had a dining room half full of people and it's a Friday Night. Can we order something to go. The hostess goes over to the kitchen and apparently it's a no go. If someone came in the door to any restaurant I've ever worked in at 10 minutes to closing....we would have sat them. Absolutely made my day a bit crappy. We drove back to Bills Pizza in Palm Springs. We ordered our pizza and were surprised. Excellent pizza.

Excellent Italian cuisine in the desert! Cozy and down home decor and atmosphere; a nice big menu with the gamut of classic dishes and real Italian specialties. Pizzas are especially terrific. Staff is experienced and friendly; they always remember you and yours.

ordered a pizza with three topping & when I arrived had one. Manager (bald guy) a total creep & refused to help me. Rude, rude! they don't deserve your business.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Pizza was chock-full of good stuff. Came out at the perfect temperature. The antipasto was a balanced mix of greens, meat and cheese. Great value. The seating is comfortable and the accents are interesting.

I hadnt been here in years. My parents used to bring me here as a kid, that was 30 years ago. I couldn't believe it but here it still was and the pizza was just as great as I remember. Super good. Also, the service was exceptional will definitely drive way out here with the family just to have dinner and it won't be another 30 years maybe 30 days! We ordered the Papa Dan special and double pepperoni with garlic so so good .....

Excellent food and very creative pasta dishes. This is the first time we were here and will definitely return!We had the pear and bleu cheese salad, portobello mushroom ravioli, pasta putanesca, and lamb shank. Very good sized portions and all were delicious.Cute little place and very popular in the Palm Desert area. We were here on a Friday evening and it was very busy, but the servers were courteous and attentive and the kitchen staff was working very hard. Papa Dan's also has a very popular and busy takeout business as well.Parking: Parking is a little tight when it is busy, but there is a grocery store nearby with a larger lot
