Fantastic food and great service in a casual setting.Probably the best Mexican food we’ve had in years. The taco and enchilada combo was large and super tasty. The ambience was very casual and the prices were decent for Palm Springs. The place was no frills, but the service was very fast/friendly and the food so good that we couldn’t prevent ourselves from stuffing our tummy’s despite knowing we’d probably regret feeling so full later. We did feel full for hours, but it was so good, the regrets never came.

I had an amazing experience at El Mirasol Restaurant tonight. The pork chile verde burrito was genuinely one of the best burritos I have ever had. Get the pork chile verde!!! It is amazing. So flavorful and juicy. Huge portions. My mom enjoyed the mole dish she ordered which is described on the menu as a Guy Fieri recommendation. We also loved the guacamole. Tasted very fresh and simple. Not too salty. They give you complimentary chips and salsa here upon arrival which are also very delicious. They even came around and refilled our chips with hot fresh ones before we had even finished the first batch! Menu is very large, lots of options. We sat outside this night but they have indoor seating as well. Cute little dining area with string lights and a view of the mountains. Servers here are so nice and accommodating. We were able to make a reservation easily online. Great experience. Definitely come here. I believe they have a second location too.

Excellent service, especially given we were a group of 10! My food was good, but a little too spicy for me (I'm a wimp!). Everyone else in our group loved their meals.

Great choice for Mexican, try their Shrimp with pumpkin seed sauce or the chili rellenos, you will not be disappointed.Went again this year a couple of times, still as good as always.

Not our first time here and certainly not our last. The service is excellent, the food was also very good! Love this place and we'll be going back many more times.

Obviously a very popular restaurant as totally packed when we arrived about 6. However the waitstaff were very quick in seating us as well as taking our drinks and food orders. As a celiac I was very happy to see all the GF options. Our dinners arrived promptly - generous servings and delicious. Was a great dinner on our last night in Palm SpringsDietary restrictions: Have gluten free and vegetarian options

This place came highly rated but I found it 'lacking' it's billed as authentic..but I found it bland Cal-Mex.. I really hoped for some unique flavor... but it was more 'cafeteria food taste' we watched the place fill-up with customers... but I couldn't figure out why ?

The $10 a piece Carne Asada tacos did NOT contain Carne Asada. The meat was a little, gamey flavored hamburger. Gross! The salsa was good, tho.

We went for dinner on a Saturday night. The evening ambiance was inviting, Patty our server was excellent, and the drinks were amazing, but we weren’t impressed with the food quality. We wanted authentic Mexican so we asked for a recommendation, we received unseasoned rice & stale beans and undercooked bland vegetables with no green or red sauce. When we asked Patty for an explanation, she said “that’s how it comes”. A completely underwhelming experience. We tipped Patty well, but left hungry and disappointed, will not likely return.Vegetarian options: Limited options

White washed food and the male staff were unprofessional in how much they flirt. I was uncomfortable

We had THE BEST TIME! This location is so much more fun than the one on the north side of town. The vibe is upbeat and friendly, the food is great and the service is fantastic. BIG FAN!

We met family here while on vacation and had a pleasant experience. We sat outside on the patio and the waitress was very attentive. I was a little disappointed to find out that they were out of a few of their menu items but it was not difficult to find something else delicious on their large menu. I ordered pork enchiladas and it was so delicious I ate it ALL. Everyone else at the table ordered carnitas that come out looking like hamburger patties which was a bit of a surprise but they were the most flavorful carnitas I have ever had. Would highly recommend ordering the carnitas in a dish if you visit. The jalapeño Margarita was good but if you don't like a nice strong kick in your drink don't get it- I loved it though! The carnitas may not look the most delicious in the review photos you see people post but believe me they are worth getting. (I didn't get a picture myself) Also

Food was a 3. Service was a 5. But given then you go to a restaurant primarily for the food, I chose overall 3 v 4. It wasn’t inedible by any means it was just devoid of flavor even the “spicy” salsa. It’s probably worth mentioning that we live in Chicago and there is a taco place on every corner and some are amazingly good but the most average of these is tastier than El Mirasol sadly.

This was some of the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. I ordered carne adovada and the brought 3 slices of dry pork with dry spices on it. Literally not what the dish is supposed to be. My partner ordered a tostada and it was just beans with lettuce on top and saggy. I’ve had better Mexican food at Del Taco. The service was also not even adequate. The waiter came up to our table and said, so what do you want…no hello, no how are you, no can I explain the menu, just so what do you want. I’m Mexican and this food was beyond awful!!
