This place is a hidden gem. Delicious authentic Mexican food that has a wonderful happy hour. The menu is not like the bigger places but that's great because they really focus on the food they do serve. The prices are great, the staff are great the service is great! This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

Amazing tacos, salsa, apps, everything! The service is phenomenal, including several visits by the owner. Water came immediately with the silverware and menus. Chips and salsa were fresh and fast. The appetizer came quickly after with separate plates for sharing. We tried the Brussels sprouts mixed with Mexican corn and cotija cheese. It is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had trying something new. I’ll definitely have it again and again. I had a shrimp taco and Al Pastor, both were bright and tasty, no muddled flavors. Paying is a breeze with the QR code on the bill. We’ll be back!

We were excited to try this new spot, all the reviews looked great but alas we were disappointed. We had to send back a drink as it was so sour it was undrinkable (and the drinks were very weak). Next we ordered the ceviche…it was terrible and didn’t even have a sauce to it…just fish with salsa basically. The tacos were great so I would recommend the shrimp and chicken ones. Service was sub par and we were one of three tables so needless to say we probably won’t be back. Sad as I had high hopes.

After a hike the other morning, my two friends and I were absolutely CRAVING tacos. We stumbled upon Low Desert and we were so pleasantly surprised. It’s nothing fancy, but the food quality is exceptional with perfectly balanced flavors, some nice twists, and wonderfully fresh ingredients. One of the best items was the vegetable taco, which is a rarity. Also, definitely try the low desert tacos.

Nice place, but the flavors were off in pozole and hot sauces. I'm a bit of a pozole connesiuer. Hominy & meat portions were fine but not cabbage & radishes, lacked spices on table to season.Guacamole was particularly tasteless. Complained about that, but couldn't be fixed.

So happy I stopped here! The tacos were great and the cocktails (white river) were truly incredible. Happy hour 2-5 is a really good deal- only $8!I came here on my way to a hotel from the airport and Anise the owner even helped with my bags. Will come again if given the opportunity

Tried this place out for lunch. The service was great and the food was awesome! Super yummy Mexican food. Every bite from the herby rice, the tortilla soup, the tacos and the corn side dish?? So delicious. We got the flan at the end and it was maybe the best I’ve ever had. This restaurant is beautiful, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. What a fantastic spot all around. Will be back without a doubt.

After a morning hike in Palm Canyon, my group of four was looking for a place in south Palm Springs to grab a quick lunch. We found Low Desert and we were very glad we did! The wait staff was very friendly, multiple people helped us out while we were there. The food was very good. I would categorize it as high-end street fair. We enjoyed the street tacos, nachos, a burrito bowl and some yummy cocktails. We split the flan which was sizeable and dense with lovely flavors. We will definitely go back!

This restaurant has quickly become our favorite place for Tex-mex cuisine in Palm Springs. They have a really diverse menu that includes multiple vegetarian and vegan options, which is perfect for me and my wife. The food not only looks amazing, but it is very delicious and satisfying with large portions and plenty of sides. We especially love their burritos and enchiladas, but they also have great tacos, salads, quesadillas, etc.We have always had good service. We like sitting on their covered patio, but they also have good indoor seating and seating at the bar.Happy hour is recommended (2-5 PM) for inexpensive drinks and their happy hour menu.Vegetarian options: Many great vegan AND vegetarian options!

One of the best places here in Palm Springs if you like good Mexican food and libations. The general manager, Paul is great! Service is excellent and nice low key environment. Come for Happy Hour between 2 and 5!

What a treat! Great inventive food. Juan helped meet our needs at every turn. We are so grateful. I had the huarache made vegan and I loved the portobello mushrooms.

I had the 111 poloma, the nachos with pastor (no jalapeños, guacamole on the side), the carne asada burrito. The table had the chips, salsa, and guacamole. The nachos are easily among the best that I have had in the Coachella valley. The burrito was very good. The burrito was served with choice of red and green salsa. I asked for both. The red salsa was okay on the burrito. I didn’t care for the green salsa. The burrito was even better once smothered in the requested habanero sauce. The salsa served with the chips was flavorless. I cannot recommend the salsa.Folks at the table that ordered the pozole said it was good after requesting and adding fresh chopped jalapeños and habanero, along with habanero sauce.I will be happy to return to this restaurant and will recommend it to my friends.

We had our first visit this week and it will not be the last! Great food and service. Had their version of an old fashion and it was great. We were on the patio with our small dog and it was the perfect evening with friends.
