Absolutely perfect for date night!!! A beautiful, artsy space and the 5 course tasting menu really blew us away! Best mocktails in Palm Springs, good bourbon selection, and top notch service. We had oyster n herb soup, bone marrow, lobster raviolis, lamb, and chocolate mousse- all excellent! I highly recommend reservations for any special occasion, their outdoor seating was so romantic!Parking: Limited spots in front, gotta go around back!

Wonderful food in a beautiful setting. Simple dishes that are full of flavor. Service was also top notch. The carrot cavatelli pasta, guacamole, the chicken salad sandwich, mussels, Mediterranean salad and desserts were all stand out dishes. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a great meal and enjoyed the beautiful setting. The menu is not fussy, I had an amazing burger and my husband enjoyed the chicken mole. The hummus was great too-though the server forgot to put the order in and it came with our entrees. The staff more than made up for it by comping the hummus and a round of drinks. The garden is beautiful—feels like you dining in Napa rather than Palm Springs. Highly recommend.

A wonderful hidden gem. We enjoyed our visit at The Barn Kitchen. We shared a few appetizers which we all liked. The mussels were nice, plum and in a tasty broth (be sure to ask for some extra pieces of bread to soak up all the broth). The hummus was excellent too. I found the cauliflower bisque a bit lacking in overall flavor. For main course I had the mushroom pasta which tasted great. My wife had the tune dish which she enjoyed too. The menu is limited as all food is prepared fresh so you might want to check the menu prior to booking. Parking is limited as well (as far as we could see) so we had to park at the motel across the street. Crossing a 6 lane street could be a bit tricky for some people depending on time of day.

Creative menu that will satisfy all tastes! An intimate and homey hip setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Casual yet stylish with tasteful and charming and cool decor. Laid back California all the way! The service was great too - we felt like we were very welcome.

Everything from the food to the decor and service was excellent. We had the fresh house made cavatelli pasta, steak for two with salt crusted potatoes, and cookies for dessert. We loved the chill vibe and atmosphere. Gabe and the team are kind, and don't rush you, which I appreciated. I will definitely be back again soon!

The service was very slow. We put in apps that require little time and it took more than 20 min to be delivered. We are talking guac, crudo and burrata. The burrata needs to be seasoned more.

Our experience at The Barn Kitchen at Sparrow's Lodge was great. We were celebrating our 46th anniversary and the setting was beautiful at a cute table for 2 outside on a lively evening. The heaters were perfect to remove the chill and the ambience was perfect. We shared the rib eye steak for 2, which included grilled cherry tomatoes, baby potatoes and peppers. The steak was grilled to a perfect medium and plenty for two. We started with the steamed mussels in a curry sauce that was delicious and we shared the Mediterranean salad, which is definitely meant to be shared! I will add that with a cocktail each and we each had a glass of wine with the steak, the final bill was reasonable. We are in Palm Springs on vacation but, I would definitely go back to the Barn Kitchen and I highly recommend it.

Will definitely try again. Was there for a very light lunch so difficult to judge food-wise but the two salads we ordered were quite good. The atmosphere outside is lovely but it must be irksome to some of their guests with perimeter rooms.
I love eating at the Barn Kitchen at Sparrow Lodge! Such a pleasant atmosphere. The staff are very nice and the chocolate chip cookies are delish! Everything is very fresh. I bring guests who are visiting Palm Springs there all the time. Thank you!

Service not great; food ok;only 1 choice of each alcohol, i.e., one vodka brand, one rum brand, one gin brand, etc. Very strange. Waitress did not bring extra dressing as requested. Waitress placed take home mole sauce in a coffee cup with hole at the top - unbeknownst to us - and the mole sauce spilled all over clothes, books, etc. Host would not accommodate our request to exchange our dinner reservation with another couple who agreed to switch with us since we were attending an event at the Annenberg Theater. There was NO reason why we could not have exchanged times. The other couple offered their 8:30 P.M. time frame which would have meant we would not have had to leave our event 40 minutes early.

Andi and Gabe were fantastic! I love the vibes of this location. The cookies were amazing. They are sweet people. The chef made some fantastic meals for us. We got the Cauliflower soup, split the burger, and split the pasta and it was all delicious. The ambience was incredible too. The food does take some time to come out, but the ambience is so beautiful, it gives you time to take everything in.

We took my family here for my wife's birthday. Gabe did an outstanding job and helped make the whole experience first rate. We had the steak for two, the tuna, and the pasta dishes and all were outstanding. For apps the mussels and guac & chips were outstanding and you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't order the warm cookies for dessert, all in all one of the top 2 or 3 places we have been too in Palm Springs over the last 4 years. A must try!

Service was not up to expectations...the waitress did not put our order in. Did not get any food for hour 1/2. She also was very slow on bring desert. Was sad, the guy helping her was wonderful. Her lack of attention put a damper in our evening. Love the setting.
